ASTRO's playroom is highly underrated!

It's not underrated, it's great, it's just only part of a full game. Let hope they have them working on something longer.

If they made a sequel that was an 8 hour+ campaign, I would buy it at full price.

Meh, it's OK. It's kind of fun, and it does show off the new controller well.

But it's really not as good as everyone made out IMO, played it for an hour or two and got kind of bored tbh.
Didn't everyone say it was great and showed off the controller?
Yup, it's definitely not "underrated", it probably has the opposite problem.

Yeah great game

And I actually liked the length personally. 10 hours plus I may not have finished

I'd be happy if Team Asobi just regularly released 2-3 hour games of that quality for $10 a pop each year

I think Sony fucked up not making it a full priced proper length title.

If they had it would easily be the best game of the generation thus far though to be fair, it's still very near the top just being the way it is.
Totally disagree, they probably got a couple million people exposed to their games for the first time and a lot like me will be ready to fork out full price for their next game based on Astros Playroom

Assuming it's not wasted on VR exclusivity

Yeah, amazing game. I dont even like platformers that much and had to platinum the game. Its a 3 in 1. Its a really good game, its a cool tech demo for the Dual Sense, and its a Playstation museum full of history and easter eggs.

Despite it being a pack in game it just oozes quality. From the really slick and colorful 4k graphics, smooth platforming with lots of variety, innovation with using the Dual sense controller, to overall being a fun colorful game. Game deserves real credit.
Yes. It gives me Super Mario vibes.

Couldn't agree more. It felt so nice to get a super solid game with the system. It felt so incredibly nostalgic.

Honestly, the game just had so much charm, playing it made me feel like a kid again. Absolutely loved it.

Im 100% confident we will get some Astrobot VR game at launch of PSVR2, but not a big game like Rescue mission, but rather like playroom 2 or something. To help showcase what can be done with the headset and controllers... And the combination of 1xVR headset VS 4xcontrollers on the tv gameplay, like with playroom.
And Im totally fine with that, even doh I do hope they are making bigger games such as rescue mission.
Hopeing for a BC patch on RM.

I just got a Platinum on this game tonight. ( my first ever) After having a ps3 for 3 years, ps4 for 7 years, and my ps5 for 16 months, this is my first platinum in my Sony career. I never really cared about trophies but this game made me want to do everything.

I have just finished this, great game but a tad shirt. Sony could be onto a great little franchise if they made a similar game but longer. loved it

It's the best experience I've had on these current-gen consoles for sure. Just wish it were a full size game, would have happily paid ÂŁ50 for a game that was 3-4 times as long.

Nah. I'd give up every single game Team Asobi made, present and future. For a single new Gravity Rush.

Seeing this stuff is what replaced Japan Studio is painful.
Astro Bot is better than any Gravity Rush game tho 🤷. Gravity Rush games have great flying mechanics, wasted in rather shallow open worlds(Crackdown or Infamous like). They could've done so much more with the concept. Still good, but doesn't use it's potential to the fullest.

just a shame there isn't more to it, shame they don't build some DLC to it to make it bigger. best use of the controller to

I can't wait to see Team Asobi's next game. Astrobot was a great game and full of imagination. I also hope their next release has a similar soundtrack, which is still my favourite of the generation so far.

Fantastic game. I loved how they incorporated past Playstation hardware into the game. That was a fun platinum to earn too.

It was the first game that I fired up when I got my PS5 and yeah, I was extremely surprised at how fun it actually was lol. Nice nostalgia trip too, with all those collectable consoles and accessories from past generations.

It almost made me forget about the cynical truth that this is basically a tech demo and glorified toy commercial.
