At FFXV's endgame and I'm dying and broke (spoilers)

I finished at either 43 or 44, just make sure you're good on healing items and run past as much as you can until behemoth king, then work the last bosses. You can do it!

The
Ifrit
fight was great, IMO.

It was a spectacle the first time, but on repeats it's obvious how he spends most of the fight standing around being ominous and then halfheartedly swinging seemingly at random.

For a penultimate boss encounter, he's a big braindead punching bag

You need to understand that story-wise, he doesn't really care if he kill or is being killed, he'll win regardless of the outcome, so I think it's really fitting for his character!

I feel like everybody is entirely missing the point here. You aren't running through enemies to "finish at a low level". The game puts these enemies on certain paths to tell you where NOT to go in Insomnia. It creates tension and a feeling of being overwhelmed.

The area is designed for level 40-45. You're not supposed to be fighting the double naga or deathclaw. There is nothing remotely as difficult on the path to the final battles.

I beat the game.

That was an evocative ending. Doesn't make up for the bad parts of the game, but I'm glad I saw it. Beat the game at level 43.

You can tell this game's concepts came from the early 2000s since the final boss is literally the final fight in The Matrix Revolutions.

I don't think you are even meant to take on all these enemies. They are just a nice bonus. Some of them are stronger then the final boss actually. ;) I finished the game with level 41.

I finished at level 82, still had to skip those encounters in insomnia... Those bitches have to much Insta-kill and not with the grindy fight.

I'm 40 and I'm unable to beat the behemoth. Do you guys play in wait mode, am I missing a key gameplay element to "wreck" him, what up?

I think those enemies exist because of the Kukris.

This goes for both fights, I can't say I enjoy them on replays. The last phase of the final battle looks absolutely terrible.

I finished the game at level 53. All the enemies in Insomnia (with the exception of that level 72 Naglfar type enemy) were pretty easy to deal with.

Finished the game myself at Lvl 44... just stockpile level 3 magic by going back using Umbra and have all your magic flasks ready to go and use them all on the final boss

Currently just started Chapter 10 at Lvl. 54, haven't stopped to gain levels in quite a bit, but will definitely have to try that Bandersnatch method.

this is a joke right?

I thought those fights fun as did many others. They made great use of a battle system that is enjoyable. So not a joke, but I understand it is not the same for eveyone. I had just finished the fights a few days ago so I am still high on them.
