Koei Tecmo Europe announced it as "Attack on Titan", so I guess not.

Watch as they set it as a prequel before 3D maneuver gear was a thing and you just play dude on horses slashing heels and trying to escape.
There needs to be a Musou like Titan mode where you kill hundreds of guys but still get a warning "don't approach Levi or Mikasa".

Interesting that they're doing CG cutscenes instead of anime (for the teaser, at least.) Wonder how close to in-game the models and shading approach will be compared to what we see in the teaser?
Omega Force hasn't been known for an amazing engine for quite a long while, but its last few non-DW games like Dragon Quest Heroes and Hyrule Warriors and even One-Piece have shown a little something extra in their magic bag, other off-brand games like Toukiden have gone even further (and I always thought the DW Strikeforce games looked cool on PSP.) So hopefully they have something cool planned for AoT since they already said it's not just another Musuo game.
Reminds me of Lily Bergamo with this style... Hope It's good. Man for a console that have no games, PS4 seems to get along quite nicely...😉

Seriously...where? It did have an anime, it has a manga, it has real life action movies, spin of mangas, spin of anime, one game (with that two and that one will be better for sure), some merchandise, some restaurants... seems like typical anime/manga shounen syndrom for me.
Every good series gets these things today and Attack on Titan doesn't seem like that it is everywhere. I am not annoyed - just annoyed that the manga sucks after chapter 37(?).

This specific announcement doesn't bother me; I think Koei Tecmo is deciding to make a game based on every anime at this point. I still need to get to my copies of Pirate Warriors 1 and 2, and 3 is coming out this month...

Some kind of Kessen wouldn't be too far fetched, as you'll probably manage squads and not just a little guy.
I guess a coop Hunter format would make the most sense though.

And to reiterate, because there are a number of other GIFs in this thread of AoT anime action, that clip is from the video game trailer, which uses a graphical style (CG) different from the show (computer-assisted anime.)

I have a feeling that the teaser, though it shows no gameplay, may be using Omega Force's game assets as the rendering material. (Whether it looks anything like that when actually running on a PS4 is a different story.) There are some clear limitations in the CG used in the video (pre-baked lighting, something weird going on with the background characters,) the producers either rushed the video because they had little else or they're using what they have from the game to render out the teaser. And as Spirit Icana pointed out, the Colossal Titan in the OP/keyart is a little weird looking, which may be because it's the game's version Titan model and thus it doesn't hold up when used in a still.
Not saying Koei Tecmo could pull off a game looking like this while runnin, but maybe it's worth taking a close look at the teaser itself just a little bit since we probably won't get gamplay for a while.

Not really. Since they joined with Tecmo, Koei musou engine become significantly better. Samurai Warriors 4 looks goddamn pretty. The engine isn't limited to musou game as it also used for The Dusk Trilogy from Atelier Series, which praised by Durante very often of having beautiful model that can do justice of Hidari's art style into 3D. So in that regard, AoT will be a beautiful game if KT have the budget and effort.
Also, guys, Omega Force is not Musou Dispenser. Not all of their games are musouo. They have Toukiden, Trinity Soul of Zill'ol, Bladestorm, and Dragon Quest Heroes. Yes Dragon Heroes is not musou games as it is much closer to Trinity or even Toukiden due to the fact the latter success is what makes Squenix agreed to this collaboration, not Musou games populatirity.

I just hope it is on par with the the Naruto Storm games. Storm 2 is the best anime game I've ever played. Teaser looks cool, I'm getting my hopes up.
