Objectification is about your perception of people, that's why people often use the term '' male GAZE '' too.
There is nothing inherently objectifying about a woman showing her body and being sexual, objectifying her is something that you choose to do on your end just like you can choose to not view it as a big deal and ignore it or indulge in it and still acknowledge her as a human being.
There is a big difference between watching porn and still acknowledging the people in the porn as actual people and treating them like anyone else if you meet them irl, and between just literally viewing them as a piece of meat and treating them like garbage.
If it was your mom, sister, daughter or other family member and they do it or started doing it tomorrow would you not even acknowledge them as a person anymore and treat them the same way?
They're still the same person that you know, same feelings same thoughts etc. And believe it or not but these women do the same things normal people do every day they don't sit around going '' uwu '' 24/7.
It's the same in character designs in games, designs aren't inherently objectifying it's about how you choose to engage with them or the mindset behind the creator.
There's a big difference between playing 2B in Nier automata and enjoying her butt but still playing the game and actually acknowledging her as a character beyond just her butt, and between just obsessing about her butt and not even bothering with her actual characters personality or anything else. Just treating her as if she literally just is her butt, THAT'S objectification.
And it's the same if you're a designer.
It's such a strange and nonsensical mindset people have imo.
People can stick their dick inside someone and still acknowledge them as a person but if they see someone else get a dick stuck inside them ( or even just showing cleavage.... the fucking tamest shit ever ) then suddenly they can't respect that person and they're treated like complete garbage.
It's like you can do it yourself to another person but you can't see someone else have that done to them without being a judgemental and hateful moron about it.
It's only a big deal because people make it a big deal, but in reality it really isn't.
Believe it or not even actual cam girls have rules in their chats and they do police it quite heavily.
Just because someone puts on a performance for you doesn't mean that they're okay with you doing or saying whatever you want, they're still people who have limits and feelings of their own.
This really shouldn't be that hard to comprehend and it's kinda sad that so many people don't but still watch porn and jerk off to it five times a day.
People should try and actually challenge their already held beliefs about this like an actual adult sometime instead of just sitting around calling women whores and circlejerking about it with other guys for no real reason.

Just ask yourself '' why '' repeatedly and if you can't come up with a REALLY good reason why then it probably isn't worth being a jerk about.
