Auto-tune the news

OMG. There is an auto-tune of a baby crying! Who would have thought that crying would produce one of the most beautiful sounds of music out there! I felt horrible for laughing at how good it sounded.
 
#3 is awesome. Song itself's not as good as #2, but the back and forth with Hillary just killed me. :lol

I hope they keep up the Katie Couric gag. Funny every time.

I like how they put the "very thin ice" part in there, too :lol But I dunno....I still like the #2 video better.

Correction: the bearded one (Andrew, apparently) is. He does the gorilla and Katie parts, i.e. the best stuff. The sister-in-law is unfunny and needs to go away.

If only he had brought back "you're gonna love my nuts!" a few times as a sort of 2nd chorus, it would've been epic.
 
I dunno this one sounded like it had a lot more in it but the first 3/4 of it was really hard to understand. And they could have ended it a bit more elegantly instead of cutting right to their theme song. I hope they make more though.

Eh, the Katie stuff is good, but I think you underrate the gay marriage and pirate sections of #2 (I'd also say you overrate the gorilla--it's a bit too non sequitur IMHO).

Frankly, after watching #2 again, I'm just struck by how amazingly better it is than #3. The chick (sister-in-law?) might be at fault, I'll agree.
 
The Sotomayor stuff was solid, Couric continues to sound awesome... but the second half is a bit forgettable. Recurring characters? I don't know. ;)

Oh shit there's a new one???

Edit: The new one is cool but it changes up a little bit too much, which kind of hurts the listenability of the track itself.

I need to watch it when I'm not exhausted.

Indeed.

And that was because they didn't really alter the original airing all that much. They just put autotune over it and some music, and it fitted perfectly. Especially the Couric part in #2.

Now they're more going the route of making a song themselves, singing more themselves, and on occasion placing some parts of the news in it (and more modified than before).

I agree - it doesn't get nearly enough love.

"Falling in love with you, nude at the zoo, makin' memories at the pottery wheel rubbin' clay on you all afternoon (OH!)"

So good. Can't wait to check out #4 later.
 
Too much Angry Gorilla in this one. They sort of just stopped doing auto-tune the news stuff all together about two-thirds of the way through on this one. Disappointing.

The stuff before that was pretty great, though, and Couric segments are always excellent. Biden segments too.

Eh, she was funny in the first one, and she can really sing, the dropoff in funny is mainly due to the writing, can't blame her.

I didn't like her in the third one mostly because they over-autotuned her voice. She sounds awesome in the first one. Overall though I'm not a fan of the third one as there's too much editing of the videos to create what they wanted.
 
:lol I love these. #2 is still the best, you can't top that Katie Couric part. And somehow Dick Cheney becomes even creepier when auto-tuned.
