Max Payne 3 was pretty damn good, all the at-release controversies about its style change withstanding.

MP3 shooting still some of the best today.

Awesome, thanks for sharing!

Max Payne 1 and 2 are among my favorite games. I used to replay them every winter - maybe I should do it again this year.

Loved everything about it other than not being able to understand what the enemy was saying during shootouts. That was one of my favorite things about Payne, listening to enemy dialogue.

Max Payne 2 is easily the most important video game of its era. A dark, action-packed, noir romance story that is as timeless as it is impactful. Today, we're digging in deep to find out what makes it such a great 3rd person shooter, and looking at every console it was ever ported to. Welcome to the Max Payne full series retrospective.

One was alright. 2 was a work of art, one of my all time favourites. Certainly my favourite third person action title and undoubtedly the most stylish video game I've ever played.

Max Payne 2 is still a damn good game. And Max Payne 3 is probably the best game when it comes to third-person gunplay and movement that R* will ever shit out.

Always liked Max Payne 1 better than 2. It feels like the sequel lost the touch of buffonery that some situations and villains had, and the interactivity of the scenarios was greatly reduced. I wasn't a fan of the "big bad" plot twist in MP2, either.

MP3 was a pleasant surprise. I played it with zero expectations and enjoyed its settling a lot, because it shows that gangsters do not require dark alleways, long coats or black coffee. Crime and corruption, in the end, is the same everywhere.

I played through MP3 twice back to back when it releases cause I liked it so much lol
I thought everyone was taking crazy pills back then, cause the internet was in an uproar about it.
