I noticed this but figured it was my internet being wack. Now it's in every thread. It's a virus, and it's spreading D:

I read through the thread earlier and thought"wonder whats up with those poor saps."

Now I'm one of you. It's broken on my chrome and safari mobile.

Pretty much gone all the time for me. I'm running the latest Chrome on Windows 8.1, but it seems to be affecting most setups. I'm glad: I thought it was my internet access being wonky.

Strange... Can only see some avatars, but not everyone. Maybe a technical issue?

I'm on Firefox 36 on Mac OS X 10.10.2

I'm gonna guess the avatars that are still visible are still in the browser's cache and the different cached images are expiring at different times. Probably if you forced a cache refresh with Ctrl-F5, you'd not see avatars at all anymore. Don't think it has anything to do with your computer.

edit: Yep, just tried it myself, opened a thread where there were still a couple of avatars visible and Ctrl-F5 made them disappear.

Confirmed. They're back here, too.

Slapped together a userscript quick fix for those affected. Replaces the avatar domain with the GAF IP address instead. Requires the Firefox GreaseMonkey addon.

Grab it here.

I see maybe half dozen avatars per page of thread.

Don't really care enough to mess with a userscript but I think it's kind of humorous how I don't know who anybody is anymore.

Tried installing this, deleted cookies & cache, even did "ipconfig" in CMD & nothing.

Not sure why it wouldn't be displaying, it's the same IP as neogaf.com. Either way the issue will probably be fixed by tomorrow.

Edit: found Chrome doesn't like the code for some reason, so updated the original post.
