average shows that feels like only you remember

I remember liking this show.

American Dragon.

One of the more notable things about this show is that it sort of "rivaled" a Cartoon Network show, the Life and Times of Juniper Lee, as both featured Asian-American protagonists dealing with the hidden fantasy world with a talking pug-dog sidekick and grandfather/mother aiding them, in addition to an annoying younger sibling.

American Dragon I thought was better (Juniper Lee has a weird sense of humor that always struck me as too try hard), but it also had this weird art-style change in Season 02 that made it more edgy and looser, and a bit unappealing to me personally.

Brandy and Mr. Whiskers was very good.

I liked both of the artsyles pretty equally

I forgot about Eek the Cat. It's been so long that maybe nostalgia has been kinder to it than it deserves, but I remember it being a lot of fun, and remarkably insane. Maybe calling it mediocre is doing it a disservice, but I certainly never see it talked about.

Wonder if Savage Steve Holland is still directing random preteen shows these days.

These 4 shows were pretty big on French TV and had a ton of reruns on the french third biggest channel (one that was almost dedicated to tv shows and movies).

The pretender aka " Le caméléon " (The Chameleon). The french title is way better than the original one

Early Edition aka " Demain à la Une " (Tomorrow's headlines). Looooooved this show when I was a kid even though it was pretty meh. And yeah fuck his cat.

Code Quantum (same title)

And finally my personal favorite growing up. The lovely Dr. Quinn

Jane Seymour will always be my number one. What a woman.

Breaker High. I'm not even sure the show was average, but the girls in the show made me feels all tingly in the right spots.

I thought this show was very good tho. One of the only cartoons that I remember making me laugh a lot when I was a kid.
that and emperors new school

Holy shit, Ronin Warriors, Street Sharks, Samurai Pizza Cats, Eek the Cat.. so many things I had forgotten that I used to watch all the time.

The only thing I can come up with off the top of my head is the Invisible Man, it was an original series on the Sci-Fi channel.

It's about a thief who becomes a government agent after being injected with some sort of experimental.. thing that lets him turn invisible at will . The reason he doesn't just peace out after the fact is because he needs some sort of medicine to keep him healthy/sane or something like that. Also featuring "that guy" actor Paul Ben-Victor. No idea if it still holds up, but I remember liking it at the time.

I would also mention the "new" Outer Limits, but that was a bit more popular and well liked (I think) than most of the shows in this thread.

Centurions and MASK, loved them.

Oh wow, I thought that I was the only one who watched I-Man. I really loved that show back in high school. Would come on late at night on UPN.

So many of my picks were already said, so I'll just say: Professor Iris. Childhood favorite that is mostly inoffensive, barring some... blissful innocence is the best word, in the intro.

(His shtick is that he taught a specific moral each episode, One of them was proper sleep habits, and the scene used from that episode was the titular professor in the same bed as his students.)

I blame this thread for the fact that I've been listening to Class of 3000 songs for the better part of an hour.

Alright let's go:

Game Over. Only aired on UPN, and was horrible. However, video game theme, so my 11-12 year old brain loved it.

cast.jpg

Had a plot that centered around a family of stereotypical video game characters like a race car driver, Lara croft look - alike. Crash Bandicoot and characters from Abe's Odyssey were in the game too, I guess. I remember seeing a ton of ads for this in my area on local TV, and then it was cancelled after 6 episodes.

In 2004, they showed this before lunchtime on Channel 4 in the UK. I remember it and its two main stars quite well.

I'm so glad someone else remembers Nikki!

Last time I checked, there was no DVD or bluray release, but I'd buy it in a heartbeat. The entire cast was so fun, and the show had this wonderful optimism to its universe, no matter what was going on.

I used to have a bunch of episodes recorded on VHS. Wikipedia says it's still airing in the Netherlands, so perhaps there's a chance I'll be able to rewatch it with decent quality some day.

Boss. Minus the gratuitous and pointless sex, it seemed like a potentially really good show, and Kelsey Grammer was amazing in the role of a corrupt Chicago mayor. Unfortunately it only got two seasons, and left a lot of things unresolved.

Graceland

Cop drama about a real-life beachfront home where agents from multiple organizations (ICE, DEA, FBI) live together, undercover, and collaborate on catching criminals.

I really liked the first season, thought the second one was ok. First aired in 2013, it was renewed for a third season, and I hope it's good. But not once have I ever heard anybody talk about it, reference it or even recognize it if I bring it up. Anybody on GAF ever watched this show?

I don't think I've ever met someone that's watched Sheep in the Big City even though I remember it being awesome

It was one of the very best shows. It's one of those shows where, if I were to one day read that all the talent that worked on it went on to make a completely different show I loved like Arrested Development or something, I'd be like "Huh. That makes sense."

This one was definitely not good.

Oh my god, I suddenly remember this show, but only for one joke that I loved. They were all going to go into space or something. For a mission. So the camera pans out to show the X shaped house start to prepare to fly into space. And the robot voice is like "Lift-off commencing in...NOW!" and it just immediately blasts off. That joke stuck with me for some reason.

There are a lot of shows that were short-lived but much beloved like Pushing Diaries that I truly love, but one I never hear people mention is Kings

It started slow and then got buried at a weird time. Was good while it lasted.
