Awesome music from indie games .

Also enjoy the music from Rogue Legacy. Even did a guitar cover of one of the songs from it on youtube ("Ponce de leon").

Anything chiptune inspired with nice square waves.
VVVVVV (PPPPPP) - Potential for Anything
Dustforce - 9 bit Expedition

I loved Sweden in Minecraft as well. Was so nice when it played when I looked back at older homes and projects or saw my brand new underground tunnel shine through the ocean as the night approached.
Really enamored with FTL's soundtrack. Keeps me coming back for more.

Wow. Makes me want to play/get into FTL.

All three have already been mentioned, but:
Super Meat Boy
Hotline Miami
VVVVVV

Those are by far my favourite indie game soundtracks.

"Potential for Anything" from VVVVVV is probably my favorite track from the game. I really like its emphasis on echoed square waves; gives the area a feeling of vastness that most of the other (still very excellent) tracks don't quite evoke.

I'm also a really big sucker for nostalgic-feeling songs - generally warm songs with a hint of melancholy attached to them. Braid's "Downstream" and "Lullaby Set", Fez's "Home" and Minecraft's "Sweden" and "Living Mice" all manage to evoke that sort of feeling in me (dunno about anyone else).

Also, this is where I'd pimp "Fortune Night 1"/"2", "Jade Creek 1", "Trap Hideout" and "Battle Glacier 1" from Freedom Planet, except the game's not out yet and I can't share the music because NDAs. Should come out June 30th, at least, but for the meantime, you'll just have to take my word that the music for it is really good. I can link "Relic Maze 1", at least. Admittedly they're more action-y than the songs from the games I listed above, but then those games are more puzzle-y while this one's more of a proper '90's-ish mascot platformer, but hell, they're all good.

Oh, and almost forgot: Damdadaadam daadamdaa, damdadaadam daadam daadam... Admittedly "Following Stanley" is kind of repetitive after a while, since it's a fairly short segment of the
Confusion
Ending, but at the same time it's just catchy enough and so upbeat, it's hard to begrudge it.
