so i have a question to all GAFers w/tags:
- do you like having a tag? even if it's not very flattering?
- do you think having a tag makes you more popular?
- are you stuck with your tag? do you want it changed or reverted back to member?
- did you make any kind of extra effort just to earn a tag? (trying to be stupid/funny/nitpicking)

i mean i think some tags are cool, and then there are the horrendous "OMG i'll stop posting cuz of this tag" shit 0_o.
example: "and that kids is the story of how i started sucking dicks for money"! (funny as hell though)

It's a lot better than not having a tag, but I got it as a mark of shame :lol

I've made the effort before, but not that time. Nobody gets tags who fishes for them.

S'alright, I guess. doesn't seem to make a big distinction unless it's really funny or embarrassing or confusing. I don't try to earn a tag and anyone who does doesn't get one. I'm still on a quest to the top of the highest mountains, where the buddhist monks who know what my tag means will live.

Did you get demoted or something and is wearing a custom member tag?
 
There is actually one user (can't remember who it is) who has a tag that only he can see. I think. I certainly remember getting drunk and trying to create a tag like that once, anyway, and I'm pretty sure I managed it.
 
No tag, but I can't change my avatar. I wanted the Seattle SuperSonics move to be incorporated in the NBA offseason thread title; blackace disagreed.

The links in my tag tell the story. The hype behind the Xbox 360 launch was incredible, and the fallout with the defect rate was truly hilarious. Originally my tag was "will play skin flute." At some point I called out in a tag thread that I did wind up buying a 360, and then it was changed to the current one.

On the old GAF my tag was "furrilicious." On this board, it was "The cat has long since forgiven me" briefly, but I can't find the original thread anymore.

Matter of opinion. I always find Jiggy's posts to be entertaining reads and, as I've said, I tend to agree with most of them.

Also, I should keep a tally of how many people have gotten tags for posting in this thread.
 
Eh, this tag is better than my last one atleast, makes me looks classy. Also if you're desperate for a tag, just post regularily in a sports thread

I love the evil here. I think the only thing that would be more awesome would be if the user saw a very complimentary tag, but everyone else saw a very degrading tag. It'd be like Shallow Hal, but not really the same at all.
 
I used to have a tag.. its was "c.mk into qcfx2 + K is TOO GOOD!"... I think I got it from complaining about ken in a 3s thread... it was awesome but now I dont have shit on the new forum.. :(
