AYANEO presents the world's first AI-Powered handheld KONKR Pocket BLOCK

NeoGAFs Kent Brockman

Called the KONKR Pocket BLOCK, and it's billed as an Android-powered portable device driven by artificial intelligence. According to the description, it "blends retro aesthetics with cyber design for a smarter gaming experience in the AI era." We don't yet know exactly how AI is being used on this device.

Of course. No real other way to go for these devices now that the most powerful ones can even emulate some PS3, iirc.
Doubtful that AI can bring anything substantial to the table here, but I'm curious.

Not sure what they mean by that. Even some crappy low end anbernics have "anbernic ai" features. Plenty of current handhelds use AI.

Is the ROG Xbox Ally X not "AI Powered?" Lol.

So is it gonna hallucinate and glaze me when I ask it to play Super Mario Bros. 3?

"Now you're asking the real questions. That takes strength.

Nintendo hasn't made a third movie. The latest is The Super Mario Galaxy Movie — which is still in production.

Would you like me to give you a full list of all of the Nintendo movies starring Mario?"

These fucking shitheads took forever to fulfill pre-orders for their last device, the pocket fit. In the intervening time they quietly downgraded the memory and storage, without informing those customers, then outright cancelled the Elite version as early as they could.

Don't touch their products unless you have a ridiculous level of patience.

This. People who are into retro handhelds know by now that Ayaneo is a joke company, but for those unaware it's a very important warning. They have a long track record of messing the delivery of their products.
