I'm so confused by the people who don't like him. Oh well.

$5 well spent.

I honestly don't even understand how it's possible. This thread is blowing my mind.

I think he's incredibly likeable and I like him as a person.

But I hate his comedy. His albums play on my Pandora comedy channel occasionally and they all seem to boil down to "OMG dude RIGHT? I KNOW! THAT WAS SOOO AWESOME" and then name dropping rappers he's hung out with.

I purchased Louis CK's special, glad to see others following.

Don't really care for this guy though. Not necessarily good or bad... sometimes he can get annoying when he's loud, but other times he nails jokes.

I'll wait for the response this gets before buying.

$5? Amazing deal. That's like 10 cents for every time he opens his eyes wide and smiles really big.

$5? Amazing deal. That's like $5 for every funny joke.

Not a fan. He's like a human chihuahua, small and yelpingly loud.

That said, I look forward to his success with the CK business model.

He attempts to pull a Louie, then doesn't do it right.

Offering shitty formats, for example.

I am sure it's hilarious though.

Just watched this, very disappointing. Maybe I've outgrown him, because I did like Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening.

My teef hurt my teef hurt, how I'm get my teef cleaned? Is his DJ in this special? I fucking love that dude.

crap. I actually don't have 5 bucks just now. Hope i remember this on payday. Like the guy and I would buy a dane cook special if he released it like this, just to support the format.

Not a fan of Aziz, but...

Jim Gaffigan is doing one next month. I agree, this trend is awesome.

This I would definitely buy. Someone needs to post a thread when this one's out to remind me, because I'm there day one for that.

Still, I appreciate the sentiment. I love this distribution method. I bought the Louis C.K. one and enjoyed it.

If you don't like him on Parks and Rec check out the stuff he did on Human Giant, absolutely hilarious and short lived sketch show.

Would prefer a 5$ donate to make him never perform again kickstarter.

He's basically Tracy Morgan with a different ethnicity. Aka basically the non white dane cook..

Love the trend of no drm no distributor bullshit though.

Word. Except Tracy Morgan is funny as shit (see: Letterman interviews)

My girlfriend and I finished watching this almost an hour ago. We both enjoyed it. Me moreso than her, but she did laugh quite a bit.

His opening was good, then he had a few good ones, but then it kind of dragged on a bit and his closer was a little lackluster, IMO. Overall though, it was fun.

Pretty good $5 spent.

Louis CK is great too but Louis CK's I wanna ejaculate on people isn't funny to me. I like self deprecation but I like Aziz more.

Going to see him tomorrow night. First time seeing a comedian live! (I don't count Larry the Cable Guy lol).
even though I hate his specials, Jim Gaffigan was probably my favorite live comedian - out of C.K., Seinfeld, Posehn, Burr, Breuer, Attell, and Norton. You should have an awesome time.

Bought and watched the full thing, really enjoyed it, thought it was much better than the first special. Props to Aziz! Given me a bit of a turnaround to say I wasn't really a fan before but I have also been warming to Tom again more recently on Parks too.

I bought and tried to download it on my iPad, but it didn't work and I lost one of my downloads already.

Intimate Moments for a Sensual evening was much better. There were some parts of this that just ended up being sad. I never really "got into it" and never really had much of a laugh. The audience reaction was quite similar. The marketing called Dangerously Delicious uncensored, but he appears to censor himself, and none of the act really struck me as particularly edgy.
He had some great opportunities with the racial slurs part, but even that came off as pretty tame.
The best parts gauging audience reaction were when he referenced old material (
his cousin Harris and later R. Kelly
).
