It hurts my heart to see Platinum go through this. So many instant classics came from them. When they hit, they hit hard, but all these misses...
If Bayonetta 3 doesn't blow everyone's tits off and sell at least 1 or 2 million, it's over for them.
At the very least, im not worried one bit about Bayonetta's quality, it will be a wonderful action game.
why? Hideki Kamiya has been personally leading the project alongside Yusuke Miyata(neither have anything to do with Babylon's Fall) and while they haven't talked much about it, when they do is to hype or reassure fans that its turning out good, its a design Platinum has been perfecting over the years and its Kamiya's baby.
Bayonetta 3 also has the full support of Nintendo's publishing, we already seen the game in its early form last year, still looks incomplete but it
plays like a Bayonetta should.
In contrast to Babylon's Fall wich comes from Square, its a game designed only to milk player's money, one they been hidding since announcement and don't say a word about,Kamiya's name is nowhere to be seen, etc
under Nintendo they recently released Astral Chain, wich was a critical and commercial success(that no doubt is going to get sequels) and Bayonetta 2, thats the team that is working right now on finishing Bayonetta 3,no doubt they still have the talent to surprise.
