Though I wouldn't try it personally just because I don't care for undercooked bacon. The texture is just wrong. I need it to be borderline crispy, otherwise you might as well just poach the bacon.

Ask them, they are probably somewhat knowledgable on the topic.

I know many people eat pancetta without cooking it for example, but double check to make sure you're in the clear.

It won't have parasites. I'm pretty sure they are frozen at some point.

these parasytic cysts don't freeze and they don't cook at low temps. You can burn them, but....you'd have to burn yourself in the process.

And if they never hatch, they'll just cause you enduring muscle pain. If they do, they make their way to the brain and eat holes in it.

well if you buy bulk you can get porkbelly for 2.50-3$ a lb, that you cure and smoke yourself. Supposedly tastes much much better than storebought.

It's still technically raw but the curing process typically makes it safe to eat, just like salumi.

Yeah, it's fine. One of the teacher-chefs at my school was talking about how he was cooking breakfast with his baby and she ate one raw bacon but he didn't freak out because it's cured.
