Why is AC:R Desmond from a different race?

Man just what the fuck is he?

To be fair, Desmond is of Middle Eastern, Italian, Native American, and god knows what else descent.

Compared to her DOA5 version, she's ugly. Them cheeks and ears ain't doing her no favors.

That's not saying much. I mean, the differences is so minute that had it not been for the waifu thread I'd never knew there was an issue. Both are above and beyond the doll faces of pre-DOA 5 games.

But yes this is basically a Netherrealm thread. All their female characters animate like they just applied male animations to them (which I'm pretty sure they did)... and the anatomy lessons are indeed missing.

NetherRealm is so terrible at character models. They are particularly bad at females as proven on their 3 fighters so far. I guess it's refreshing to see a fighting game where the entire cast is butt-ugly, lol.

Uhh… am I missing something here? It's a little uncanny valley, otherwise I'd mistaken it for footage of a real older woman. What's the problem exactly? The kid is definitely weird with her tiny face and receding hair.

There is something really lazy about whomever was overseeing the artists behind Morrigan's design. She has a different face in every place she appears; trailer, art, cover art, game, trailer for sequel(which is fine if it is an improvement), screenshot for sequel.
