Is it possible that you tried to redeem that code early a few too many times? My friend suspects that might have been the case with his one.

I'm on the EU beta and I think something is wrong... indeed yesterday I played something like 20 minutes and scored a few thing, earned a pin and passed the first rank (silver). But today, I played like 2 hours, and my stats didn't update. I am not promoted, all weapons stay at 0/15000 or something, and I was retrograded at the first medal.
Is it only me ? Or a server problem atm ?

Anyone know how to spot when you control the UAV? select doesn't seem to work there. Also can it do anything else but the R1 rocket strike? The UAV is very easy to control btw, I´d rather have it control like the huey or mosquito from BF-nam.
They reduced health on characters from BC1 because fans complained about it? I wouldn't mind if they reduced it some more. The game is super fun though, even though you get kinda pissed at your team mates when you watch them not defend the last objective while you wait to re spawn.

ouch, i had a really long set of impressions typed up, then when i hit submit, the thread was closed. i know it's a closed beta, but i didn't read anything about not discussing it, like some betas say... oh well, ya win some, ya lose some.

Indeed. There's a reason they put out this Beta just after MW2, they want people playing it and discussing it. They'd be stupid not to. It's as much a "marketing Beta" as anything.
Closed Beta just means it's not available for everyone to download and try not necessarily that we can't talk about it. But did anyone read what it said when you first loaded it up? :lol I always skip that stuff.
Anyway, whatever, initial impressions are the game is really good. I like it a lot more than MAG and certainly MW2. Definitely seems like a game for me.

This is the most open closed beta I've seen. They were tossin out codes like speeding tickets at the Indy 500 (Willard).

Now my rank and unlocks are reset, can't progress either (EU). Is it just my account that is bugged?
Playing with a team that won't defend the objectives is so frustrating in BF. I'm gunner in a tank and behind us someone set us up the bomb and the driver continues into their base to do some spawn raping instead of defending. At the last defense I was the only one inside the building by the objective, the rest of the team were snipers scattered along the perimeter of the map. Other team lost a total of 3 tickets taking us out.
