Bandai Namco PSN Sale (NA)

Is it worth buying God Eater 2 if I have God Eater Ressurrection and never played it? The price is really good, if it's considerably better than the original I might consider.

Ni No kuni for $5 brehs.

Should I hope in?

Anyone have experience with the DBZ game for Vita? It looks like a decent 3D action game...can't see how it wouldn't be worth the 5 dollarydoos

I could say the same
About the Shonen Jump game, but that is 8, not sure I want to go that far with it.

The games are both remakes but the weird thing is that GE Res was made after GE 2 Rage Burst but released first in NA so it has a lot of the things added to GE 2 Rage Burst (excluding the titular Rage Burst and Blood Rage mechanics) plus mechanics exclusive to Res so it really amounts to how much more GE do you want, for me it's a lot. I thought I hated hunting games but apparently I just hated Monster Hunter.

I don't know if it's a good discount but Hollow Realization is real good y'all.

Hated the other SAO games, but HR? Chefkiss.jpg

Ni no Kuni is, imo, one of the greatest JRPGs of all time.

So yes, buy it. If you somehow don't like it, you're only out a fiver!

Just fucking kill me if Naruto legacy is on sale. I bought it this weekend.
You can actually call Sony CS if something goes significantly on sale within like a week of you buying it. Did this once when The Witness dropped from $40 to $20 the day after I bought it; they issued me a $20 PSN credit.

$10 is a great price. Can you play the first one to see if you like it and use that to determine? The 2 games are not too different, I definitely wouldn't play them back to back but you could at least buy it now at the sale price if you like the first one and think you'll play the 2nd sometime in the future.

I played the first one for a hour or so. Stopped playing because of backlog. I enjoyed, but I don't think I'm going to play both (they are already pretty long games), so I would rather just play the one that is clearly superior. If they are of the same quality, just "different", might as well stick with Resurrection I think.

Wow really? I didn't know this. I actually overpaid for Ultimate MvC3 then. I should have called them. Damn. Thanks though, I will keep this in mind.

I was desperate for a MH game on console and jumped in on God Eater. After trying to be as optimistic as possible with a good 15-20 hours of play, I stopped lying to myself and uninstalled.

It's a very lackluster action game that has dull enemies, dull environments, dull progression, and the combat feels weightless and mash-heavy. I also found it irritating trying to maintain power by constantly 'feeding' after each combo and spraying my party with monster bullets, not a fan of that whole mechanic. Oh and the anime narrative is both nonsensical and stupid. I have my doubts the sequel fixes any of it.

Still at $10, may be low enough for you to sate your curiosity. (Some do really like the games)

And what .hack game would that be? As far as I know the last .hack game in NA was on ps2, and those have not been ported to ps3 or ps4. The only .hack in NA, is the GU game in November.

I didn't know this. I can't believe these haven't been released digitally for PS3.

One Piece: Burning Blood PS4: $30
One Piece: Burning Blood Gold DLC: $12.49
One Piece: Burning Blood Gold Bundle (Game+DLC): $33.79

...uh?

The DLC pricing is meant for someone who already has the base game prior to the sale if that's what you're wondering about. As for the base game versus the complete edition, maybe you only have $30 in credit? *shrug*

how are the Sword Art Online games? I see them a lot, but don't know anything about them.

I'm iffy on JRPGs, some I like, some I don't. I couldn't really get into Xenosaga Chronicles X on Wii U, or Star Ocean V on PS4 as a comparison.

Dammit i bought Dark Souls 2 SOTFS 3 days ago for 24$, i haven't play any of the Dark Souls III DLC so both DLC for 15$ is great.
I bought Ni No Kuni for the same price a couple of years ago definitely worth it.

Is the Vita Katamari game any good? Never played the series.
In the spirit of Katamari games, it's a travesty, and a crime against it's creator.

For the Vita, it's a fun game that introduces fun and cool new elements, but there is some weird DLC going on. I never fully understood it. I think the last official level or challenges are locked behind DLC< but you can unlock it somehow, I think? It always lost me. I think I got it for free from PS Plus, and I was very pleased with it with what I spent on it.

I was wondering the same thing.
If you liked the anime, you might want the first one and Hollow Realization.

Otherwise, just Hollow Realization

Heard strong positivity on a few podcasts when it launched. Basically came out of nowhere and surprised/fascinated those that played it(barring some jank). Itching to try it myself, but my plate is beyond full and winter is here. Keeping it on wish list for a PSN sale in 2018 though.

Observer is another one that shares a similar curiosity interest.

Ni no Kuni is basically free. Just get it, guys!

Fucking port this game to the PS4 or Steam so I can have better image quality and finally play this game. And yes I will buy it and not play it on PS3. GAWD!

Just leave that fucking money no one cares Namco! I mean you only have 100K plus sales waiting for you on Steam with well under a million cost to port it. But we'll just keep waiting. Would a PS4 port be THAT much trouble at this point lol?

As a big fan of Sword Art Online anime but MMORPG hater, I bought Hollow Fragment day one and was burned. 40$ wasted in a grind heavy, boring and repetitive game. I read reviews of the next games, but sadly they don't seem great either. Maybe better than HF, but still not good.

I'm keeping an eye on Fatal Bullet, but I'm not hyped at all. They don't want to create a SAO game with a story at least as engaging as the anime's (SAO/GGO stories, not ALO), it seems.
