I don't see Man of Steel Superman getting scratched by most of that. Dude survived getting tossed through countless buildings and atmospheric reentry and god knows what else without a scratch, he's not going to be punched out. And I doubt we're going to see Batman manage to build some sort of armor advanced enough to go toe to toe with him unless the movie makers really want to leave the contemporary setting behind.

Well that is what they're basing this movie on...so get ready for it to happen

Star Wars handed this a big L today when literally no one cared about the "5 second preview" anymore, and after watching that the L just got a lot bigger. Ouch.

i mean the script basically writes itself

batman being just competent enough to slow superman down from a bigger threat that batman refuses to acknowledge as being a bigger issue than supes

batman with the potential but not actual victory which results in a stalemate before batman gives the "uh...my bad, ya ur actually gud" before tackling luthor at the end

I think we need to keep in mind that the movie is 11 months out, so a first teaser of sorts, I don't think we could have expected much more.

I dunno, I'm FAR more intrigued by BvS's plot than Star Wars, because I know it will be a sci fy movie in black and white morality, while this sole trailer is already dwelling well into the grays.

I'm definitely liking the way the world is responding to Superman in this. It's better than people just simply accepting him. It makes more sense for people to fear him and question his motives.

You kidding? Everybody was creaming themselves over the Man of Steel trailers, me included. Even if the movie was garbage, we still remember how wonderful the trailers made it look.

Huh, I can see that working. Batman might not have much chance of actually harming Superman, but he can be one hell of a nuisance with all his resources.
