Oh hell yeah! I'm still holding out hope the game will be in much better shape at launch or even within the first few months with patches... i WANT this one to be good and have legs. Still don't regret my ultimate edition preorder

Pretty impressive that even their trailers manage to make the game look janky and stuttery as fuck.
Anyway the maps look good but that's where the positives end. I'd rather have more bespoke 'gamey' maps instead of these huge fuckin' sprawling affairs that just have random compounds and objects scattered about the place.

BF is one of those games that gets better with time, but tbh thats like most online titles as it takes time to balance, update etc. I think many will see this like BF4 over time.
Shaky launch, but will be the title many keep referring to when they triggered at BF Vietnam reveal lol

Yea im not buying day one considering all their recent launches. Will definitely give the trial a try tho. Portal will probably be the standout mode of the game overall.

Warzone has it's flaws, however their pillar design choices are pretty solid. I have a list of things I'd like to see changed in Warzone.
BF2042 hasn't proven anything to me than being a complete utter broken mess from:
- Graphics
- Audio
- Gameplay
- Design Choices
- Specialist
- Controller Feel for an FPS (This was hot garbage and inconsistent)
- UX/UI
- Pacing of a match (Very important for big maps)
- Broken vehicle controls and physics
- Hey Look TORNADO (Random elements that affect gameplay are never well received)
Anyway, I'd love to get into the nitty gritty of the above but I don't have that kind of time. I say if you enjoyed BF2042 go for it, personally I'm going to wait till they figure it out. I want BF2042 to do well, BF4 was my most played shooter on the PS4 and like most BF fans I've been craving for them to do well.

That ice map looks fucking fantastic, as well as being a nice demonstration of the wing suit (forgot that was in the game).
. . .odd choice of framerate though. Is this not 60FPS on consoles (I know there's no indication of what platform that was in the trailer)? Really bummed I missed out on the Open Beta's.

lol you don't need to buy it at launch, you could just wait, but like stated....this applies to pretty much all major online titles.

This is indeed 60 fps on PS5 and Series S/X. It may very well be 60fps on last gen systems too, as they have scaled maps and player count. They simply chose to upload the video in 30fps for some reason.
Also somebody has AI upscaled the footage to a higher res and at 60fps and it looks a lot better:
