Battlefield 3 Premium Edition announced ... SIXTY NINE NINETY FIVE (+trailer)

So is BF4 going to launch a month after the last expansion or something?

Last expansion: March
BF4: October

P.S. I'm just kidding/bitter about the early adopters thing. Sheesh, I'm the guy who bought BF3 eight times on PC, once on PS3 and two copies of Premium so... -_-

(I miss the days when one copy of the game allow multiple accounts. Luckily, consoles still have that privilege).

What a rip-off. I got the Limited Edition for only $59.99 when the game launched, why in the world would I be interested in this version? The LIMITED EDITION, guys.

This whole thing is stupid.

Read it again. This is the PREMIUM Edition. It contains the game and all the expansions (BF3 Premium) out of the box.

I find it funny that most of the complainers are the ones who obviously don't play BF3 or have no intention of doing so.

How can this be "rip-off?" I played the game when it launched last year, and now people still on the fence might jump on it -- thus spiking sales once again.

If you want to save on games, play 'em late. Say, Warfighter, Black Ops 2, etc. Pick them up 8+ months after release and then it would be cheaper. I paid full price for mine but I was excited to play it straight away. So it's logical to lower the price point now.

Actually, this is a good marketing move by EA. People are talking about BF3 a lot and their friends, too. So now the newbies can try it for themselves and don't have to feel gimped with the added shortcut pack...although unlocking stuff is part of the fun so I don't get why people would want to do that.

'Twas a joke, my friend.

Honestly I'm just getting kind of tired of DLC and pay to win mechanics in games, hence the facetious response. I actually played BF3 for quite awhile and had a lot of fun with it until the whole server fiasco.

Hahahahaha.

It's getting tough enough at this point in the gen to get people to buy a new game for $60, now they're trying to market a year-old one at $70? Yes, yes, I know, it's technically a good deal, but the average customer is going to balk at any price tag above the norm, especially on something that's not really new.

Gooooood luck.

You know, maybe the best thing is to slip back into Call of Duty. Just wipe the slate clean because let's face it: the slate is covered in shit and it could do with a good wiping.

There's a lot of content here for the price...

Ah, touche then. :)

Yeah, rent-a-server really messed it all up. I've yet to grab BF3 Premium though but I will maybe within the month.

This is the same as BF3 Premium. It's not mandatory and you get a little discount for buying everything but people still bitched because they had that option?? Why?

For PS3 gamers, PSN is now selling BF3 for $19.99, so if you don't want to buy this, opt for that and that's huge save right there.

Even without Premium there's a TON of people playing everyday.

I've got both the PS3 and the Xbox versions. I only have premium on PS3, and now this makes it even harder for me to purchase premium on the XBOX.

I wish Premium was tied to your BATTLELOG instead of per console. I've got both my accounts linked to my BATTLELOG.

I assume it is next fall. I really hope it is not just another modern day version. A new 1942 or 2142 would be great but I will buy regardless.

EA already confirmed March or April 2013 for BATTLEFIELD 4 launch, and it's staying within the "Modern Combat" theater.

They need to bring back the maps from BattleField: Modern Combat on consoles. Those were great maps.

Bf4 is not coming out March or April 2013.
