Just spawned on one of the skyscrapers, sniped a dude, and parachuted across the map to another spawn point underground where I managed to grab it. This is crazy.
Couldn't agree more. It feels damn good. The gameplay is much more improved, feel like there's some weight and impact when my bullets hit.
I'm suspecting/hoping that's something that'd be ironed out fairly quickly, but if not... yeah, consoles.Yeah this is unplayable for me. BF3 was decent at medium/high, but even low on this is a low-framed stuttery mess. My PC is pretty ancient, but I didn't think it'd be such a difference. Using the new drivers too.
update your drivers guys...
I feel like the RAM situation on nVidia cards may be enough to push me to AMD even without recent driver garbage (especially as I seemed to have resolved that.) It's kind of frustrating how you'd have to spend way more to get a significant boost whereas AMD's a bit more liberal with that, and it seems like it can be a more annoying bottleneck than simply being weak, lower FPS > stutter.Using the beta drivers, they do nothing.
Game uses way more RAM than BF3. Maxed out my 2GB and had to lower some stuff to get down to 1,9GB.

TURN OFF HBAO
absolutely no more sutter after i switched to SSAO, getting ~50fps with my 570 OC at high-ultra
I know! I want to upgrade it so badly!Youll be fine, but with that gpu, your cpu is a little weak, imho.
I think the latest drivers I installed fucked everything up. My screen defaults to windowed mode and refuses to go fullscreen.
Four shots I took, maxed out at 1920x1080, with post AA set to high and MSAAx4.
