I would not complain if I could get 60fps lol. I'm at like 30-35. BF3 I was getting 60 though =\

I'm really starting to think the hitches are due to the servers. I get a smooth performance on some servers and on others I get huge FPS drops everytime I fire, get killed, or camera changes like knifing and going underwater

As it's 720p.
Most games are 720p right and I have not seen this before.

Even if they do work out the performance issues by release my Phenom II x4 965 and 6870 aren't going to make BF4 look or run better than the PS4 version. With 64 player matches I have no reason to pass on the PS4 version (assuming the reviews coming from Mordor are good).
I'll take this as a lesson and make sure that my PC is as high-end as possible by the time that Star Wars: Battlefront comes out.

It's in 1280x704 actually.
Perhaps it is just like BF3 where they sliced off the the tops and bottoms of the screen and are actually rendering 1280 x 708 without scaling to 720p

The PC shot is set to Ultra but resolution is not a variable in this comparison hence the 1280x720 shot (I'm also doing high res shots, of course). This is simply to demonstrate the difference between PS3/360 and PC in Ultra in terms of on screen content.

Far too GOOD? What? That's what it looks like thought I wouldn't say "good" in reference to it. I suppose it's OK, but compared to the PC, it's missing a LOT of detail.

Just played two matches of Conquest on 360. Had to change the buttons for my soldier and vehicles. Accelerating and steering with the left stick...really DICE? And crouching with B button instead of pushing the right stick in kept throwing me off coming from BF3. Spotting is better with the right bumper, though.
The first match I got in, the skyscraper had already fallen and holy shit is the game ugly as fuck with the dust everywhere. Seriously, get a better fucking dust texture or something. Some variety in it because it looks like the environment texture refuses to load.
My second match was from the beginning and the game looks so much better before the scraper is down causing that ugly ass beige look to everything. All-in-all, it was fun and has me excited to pick it up on PS4.
Oh, and why is customizing my guns such a chore? The UI for customizing is trash. Please fix.

Heh yeah some people forget we are looking at very small versions of the real picture, so everything .. seems .. crisp and clear. Then you blow it up to full size and it looks like a completely different shot.
Before it froze my PS3, I managed to get in one 'Only in Battlefield' moment in my first game.
I skydived from the skyscraper, landed on the roof of the arcade, took out two guys, jumped on a tank and confused it until someone else blew it up.
Looks like I'll be getting both of the big two FPS games this year.

Is there a way to edit kits outside of a match? In BF3 it was under "My Soldier" on the main menu, now i can't seem to find it.
You can do it on your phone if you download the app, or on PC battlelog. I'm guessing you are talking about the console version now and maybe they just haven't added that yet.
