Blimblim keeps it real.Blimblim said:Aliasing wasn't a problem when I saw the game last year at the GDC. The lighting sucked though, and I didn't make a lot of friends when I said it last year here![]()
Sure was. It has pedigree, if nothing else.RJNavarrete said:This game, honestly, looks like shit.
Wasn't this being hyped up the ass a few months back?

Sega1991 said:I'd say it's more a testament to how something like anti-aliasing swings the opinion here at GAF. I'm sure that if all these screenshots had AA, everybody who is saying the game looks terrible would instead be saying the complete opposite.

Those glasses give me wood for some reason.
RE5 says hi.Bugnology said:This multiplatform game looks like a multiplatform game. Some screens look like some multiplatform shit.
Uh no. RE4 was the best action game of last gen. Best action beat-em-up was God Hand.C- Warrior said:DMC3:SE was the best action game of last gen and DMC4 was a great action game, GAF assplodes on the hate for DMC4 simply because it's not as good as DMC3 (which it's not, granted), but it was still a critically well received game (85%). On that note, it's the highest reviewed next-gen action game, considering Heavenly Sword and Ninja Gaiden II were reviewed lower. DMC4 also succeeds at being an accessible action title, something none of the previous DMC's were, nor any of the Ninja Gaidens.

Opinion. I also think everything about DMC3 is better then NG:B minus graphics.Mr. Durden said:There's no question about it, the screens look terrible, but, this game, like many, might look great in motion. Screen grabs never really represent the game's quality.
EDIT: :lol @ people saying DMC3:SE was better than NG:B. Just ridiculous.

I dont see the problem, is just a screen, there are other 59 frames to look forward to.Freedom = $1.05 said:![]()
No amount of AA saves this screenshot. None.
You are the ridiculous one, actually.Mr. Durden said:EDIT: :lol @ people saying DMC3:SE was better than NG:B. Just ridiculous.
You do know how prettied-up all of the RE5 screens were, right? Not to say the final product doesn't look good, but the point is that showing 1/60th of a second's worth of what is on the screen in Bayonetta can't be expected to have tons of anti-aliasing. I don't think most people realize how difficult it is to perform high anti-aliasing like what we see in FFXIII and RE5 bull-shots.Rez said:RE5 says hi.
