Ben Affleck responds to Sad Affleck

Who's the Sabconth guy on YouTube claiming Sad Affleck was his?

Edit: Nevermind, didn't realize Betty was Sabconth.

Pretty dope how he has that Batsuit at home.

I wonder if he could use that batarang prop as a weapon. Shit looked so deadly in the movie

Don't be surprised if he browses now and then. He was a big gamer back in the day. I've told this story on GAF before, but I did an interview with him where he absolutely came alive when he found out we wanted to talk games. Turned out he was a Starcraft addict and would play in his trailer on shoots. When he hit 1000 wins he quit cold turkey because "that was probably enough." I love that a thousand people have lost a game of Starcraft to Ben Affleck and never even knew it.
Wow, haha! Is that interview available?

Oh wow, I hadn't seen the Kevin Smith reaction to the Sad Affleck video. He was about to cry for his friend.

It was really good though, you should be proud.

Betty, you hurt our boy. :(

Ben doesn't care. He's the type to worry about criticism or jokes from people in the industry who know the industry. He'll say that the comic fans liked it and critics hate it 'cause he's still attached to the DCEU project. If the roles were reversed he'd dump the fan angle quickly because he rarely talks about them with his critically acclaimed movies.

Insulting Boston, his blackjack game, or Matt Damon would ruffle.

Ben Affleck is amazed at how big Batman is, and he constantly hears people saying really nice things to him about BvS, which is great because that's not what he heard from critics.

No Ben, you misunderstand. BvS was crap. But you were awesome in it (which is something most people never expected, back when you were cast). You were a beautiful ray of sunshine in the darkness. You're the reason why people have hope for the solo Batman flick. Which is what made the Sad Affleck video so great. You were dragged down by that movie. You deserved so much better.

Put on a hat and sunglasses and hang around with Henry Cavill for a couple of days (might be fun, he's probably a cool guy in real life), and see if you're still hearing people say great things about BvS.

I don't know man. I'm sure I'd get a little bummed if a movie got panned or whatever, but then I'd remember I was Ben Affleck.

The core public aren't still talking about the film, they have better things to do than criticise Luthor's plan nearly a year later.

Am I the only one who also hated him in the movie?

Man I hate that Live By Night is a bomba. I love Affleck and think he's a talented dude, but BvS was shit and now he's directed his first flop.

He's a great Bateman, though. Think that can be salvaged in a non-Snyder film in the future.

Body language not relaxed at all. Dude's reminding me of Jake Lloyd. I'm sure coming off the heels of his newest movie bombing had a hand in that.

Also, shout-out to Betty.

Affleck and Irons were great BvS. That performance alone made me look forward to a solo Batman movie with Affleck. It's literally the only DCEU movie I'm actually looking forward to.

But maybe I'm just biased because I have a Batarang in my house.

It doesn't seem to have gotten much marketing and those that have seen it aren't saying particularly positive things about it. Doesn't help that it's also in the dumping ground of January. Nobody goes to watch new movies in January.

Everyone directs a flop at a certain point. He'll be fine.

“It taught me not to do interviews with Henry Cavill where I don’t say anything and they can lay Simon and Garfunkel tracks over it, that's one thing I learned.”

Fantastic
