My decided to fire up my old ps3 the other day only to find the controller is toast.

Is there an aftermarket controller with functionality that someone would recommend?

Last time I tried there was no gyro feature and it had to be connected by usb cable IIRC

There is a couple reviews of the defender pro. I'm already seeing issues with diagonals of the thumbsticks (common issue with retro fighters controllers) and dpad not as good as they advertised in their YouTube videos on run up to launch.

Still, it's more shaped like a dual shock than the defender and can be used with ps1 and ps2.
