Just about every major and middle-tier online retailers do not charge you for pre-orders.

Because if it charged my card right now, my bills being paid would be pissed if they bounced as money was taken out and refunded a day or so later.

Same. Only thing to worry is if they ship enough for Best Buy to fulfill. I can even wait a week or two but I would hate to be put on a list of 50 and for them not to be able to fulfill it. I trust BB more than GS.

Besides, GS has a $19 delivery fee for 1 day and a $12 fee for 5-10 days. That is complete garbage.

They do a funds availability check when you preorder and I have noticed they will do random checks between preorder date and launch. Shitty thing with the check is too it will lock those funds a day or two until released

thanks for the insight. I just pre-ordered the black with SMB, Pikmin and Zombies from BB.

pretty sure I had no intention on picking up a WiiU...but at least this way, if I decide against it, I have plenty of time to change my mind and cancel.
