I mean you would have to have stale fries and bad meat to really mess up chili cheese fries.

Not exactly Chili Cheese fries, but as any of you who have visited Chicago know, we like to do things a bit different.

The fries are thinly sliced, fried potatoes smothered in Italian beef gravy, Bar-B-Que sauce, onions, cheddar cheese, and hot peppers.

I guess those would be the more american styled ones. In Denver colorado the most famous ones are at chubbys. Their "special" green chili is used, best damn chili cheese fries ever, but you might regret eating them the next day. If your not used to them, you might spend some time in the bathroom.

I love chili cheese fries, but a lot of those pictures just made me realize that they look nothing like food and more like wet brown turd on yellow logs.

I think liquid cheese is awful for fries. Shredded or bust, imo. Liquid loses what makes cheese cheese, and besides, a good CCF will come nice and hot, hot enough to turn the shredded cheese all gooey.
