Best End Game Credits - Ending a Good Note on a Good Note

As a recent examples, a shout out goes to Sonic Colours which had terrific interactive credits where you used different wisps to extract coins out of the staff names.

If only the credits didn't take close to three hours to sit through.

Super Mario RPG has one of the most joyful ending sequences and credti rolls to watch, no wonder why it's a timeless classic :) .[/URL]

oh yeah! I always really liked it. Sat through the whole thing the first time I played. I like how it's a meta mario ending where, instead of just showing all the players in the game, they do something that suits their character in the parade, and the music plays a whole bunch of variety as well. :)

While quite simple I just like the fact the characters are bobbing their heads to the music and using in game moves to dance just like many do when playing the game. Song's pretty catchy too.

In fact I only realised you could move about when viewing them a second time.

I generally like credit sequences that show all the different levels and worlds that you've traversed during the game. It makes it seem as if you've gone through a lot, and it really builds up the sense of accomplishment and pride for beating a game. That said, the best is still:

Mad World

Seriously watch this if you haven't seen it. Forget about what you think of the game. The two commentators that have been doing commentary for all of your fighting throughout the game go back and forth over (and about) the credits.

It's raunchy, but the writing is pretty good. What other credit sequence starts off bemoaning "credit whores?"

Alan Wake.

i don't even remember what they look like, but you can't really compete with
one of Bowie's finest songs,
which is probably one of the most beautiful songs ever.

Since You Have to Burn the Rope and Portal have been covered, I'm going to say The Typing of the Dead. That ridiculous music in Gears of War always gets me too.

Killzone 2 has the best end sequence by far, IMO. I love breakcore so the soundtrack choice essentially makes the entire video.

CTRL-F Vagrant ... *not found*
*sigh*

Vagrant Story have a very beautiful end game credits. People who bet the game know what I'm talking about.

I've got to say, I really liked the credits to Tales of Vesperia. Contains spoilers obviously.

Not only did they have a really piano version of the opening theme in them, it also has some really nice art showing what all the characters are up to after the end of the game, and also raises a really nice question with
the map of Earth next to Estelle writing her book, and also the fact that it has exactly enough glyphs on the front cover to spell Tales of Vesperia. Was it all a fairytale?
