Geometry Wars 1 is on Steam, I have played it a hell of a lot, so excited to see how number 2 is.
My bad, forgot about this version as this doesn't work on mine.
If you have a Wii, you should try Galaxies, loved it (I have the DS version that has framerate problems/exploits).
Is Trials HD on PC? Or Castle Crashers?
Castle Crashers is. But I partly bought my 360 for Castle Crashers back then :p

Shadow Complex is a masterpiece through and through.

Iknow it was even mentioned in the OP, but damn it, it bears repeating!

Metalslug XX (It's the only console port of MS7)
Virtual On - OT HD (twinstick controls and rebindable controls unlike the DC version + IIRC system link)
Guardian Heroes HD
Trouble Witches Neo!
Afterburner Climax
Nin2Jump

XBLA/PSN exclusives
Outland
Dayatona USA (analogue controls make this version the best)
Hard Corps Uprising (Sayuki DLC turns the game into Strider)
Galaga Legions DX
DooM 1&2 (the tight analog controls makes this a bit different to the PC)

? + HD's
Wonderboy Collection includes the only english translation of WB4
Alien Homonid HD
Sensible World of Soccer

XBLIG
Shoot 1 Up
Protect Me Princess
Bad Caterpillar

Xotic is also on PC but since it's a score attack game this is version to get if you use a pad not M&K

EDIT also Deathsmiles 2 is available on US GOD

The striked ones are not X360 exclusive

Yes and Yes.

Rez HD is definitely a 360 exclusive, and N+ isn't really the same on PSP and DS...

Afterburner Climax
I absolutely love this game, but it's also on PS3. Love it though, same for Space Invaders Infinity Gene.
I wouldn't be surprised after Metal Slug 3 and X coming to Steam if we get XX in the future as well.
360 was really an heaven for japanese shmups and arcade games.

My personal fav - the only other methods are pcb or mame

The XBLA version also has a extra game mode that allows you to control the shikigama with the R Analogue, might be fun for double players.

Also it's the only version that I find comfortable with a pad since the vanilla game feels wrong to me with anything other than a stick.

I wonder if I can tolarate playing Lumines with the 360 D PAD, but I guess its worth a try, is there a better version on PS3?

Best version of Lumines is the Vita one, but the XBLA one is decent. The Rockin' Holidays DLC has some of my favorite stages/songs. Unfortunately, they delisted the two Genki Rockets DLC levels.

Mark of the Ninja is on Steam otherwise that should have been top priority. Along with Dust.

Otherwise you nailed the ones I would have said.

My brother is re buying a 360 just for his arcade games collection.

As far as exclusives go I have

Perfect Dark Zero
Bubble Bobble Neo
Ninja Gaiden Black (on demand)
Ikaruga
Radiant Silvergun
Guardian Heroes
KOF98UM
KOF2002UM
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum
Samurai Showdown 2
Shadow Complex
Soul Calibur
Street Fighter II' HF
Discs of Tron
Garou Mark of the Wolves
Contra
Super Contra
Banjo Kazooie
Banjo Tooie
Metal Slug 3

They're all great games with the exception of Metal Slug 3, which of course is a great game but is sadly burdened by a hideous pixel-bleeding filter which cannot be disabled.

I'm coming at this from a PS3 vs. X360 perspective, if you have a PC, some of these overlap.

- Space Giraffe
- KOF 2002 Ultimate Match
- Trials HD/Trials Evolution
- Triggerheart Escelica
- Guardian Heroes
- Ms. Splosionman
- Kinect Party
- Mark of the Ninja
- Alan Wake's American Nightmare
- Strania
- neogaeo battle colloseum
- HALF-MINUTE HERO -Super Mega Neo Climax
- Dust: An Elysian Tail
- Bangai-O HD
- Gunwange
- Warlords
- Meteos Wars

Islands of Wakfu is an exclusive, is it any good?

Also there is a Twisted Pixel Bundle for those want Splosion Man / Women, Maw

Radiant Silvergun (HD remake that includes new "Ikaruga mode" not available anywhere else)

You need Ikaruga also for this mode to unlock.

Metal Slug 3 is on PC with a bunch of different filter options.

KOF98UM and KOF2002UM are also coming to PC this year.

And Ikaruga is also on PC.

I absolutely love the new arrange/shikigami mode and it's actually pretty easy to 1 credit clear too which is a great feeling since the vanilla version is so damn difficult haha

All of Rare's classic games
Marble Blast Ultra
Virtual On
Guardian Heroes

Yeah but in the OP he was counting games like Banjo so im assuming its just games not on current systems other than xbox

But the OP also states that he wants games that can't be played anywhere else, which is not the case with about 80% of the games posted so far.

I find most of vanilla Guwange slightly on the easy side but that final boss is a killer especially the random last pattern.

If the final boss is easier in the twin stick version I'll have to give it a shot.

he's still a dick in twin stick mode and it's the only achievement left that I needed, and I worked on it for a few days (the no bomb no death clear) haha.

Another Rare XBLA title exclusive to the console is Jetpac Refuelled. Sadly it's overlooked quite often, but it's an all-new, original game set in the JetPac universe. Very, very challenging too! Plus, the original ZX Spectrum Jetpac is also included! Get it!

I consider Rez HD to be XBLA exclusive because its the definitive version and the perfect realization of Rez.

This! And Lode Runner (2008).

I believe you mean Protect Me Knight.

Seriously, I cannot recommend this game enough if you have a 360. 4 player same screen co-op, and it's a blast. Sequel just came out on 3DS in Japan I believe, and I'm eagerly awaiting it to show up on Xbox One, or at least the US 3DS store. I need more!
