Best/funniest Soulsborne messages

They became so unfunny and obnoxious tbh.Even visually...

I always go offline and whenever I do play online for whatever reason,I completely ignore the messages.

Its like browsing 9gag or reading shit posts.I dont want that feeling when I am trying to play souls.

I dunno, I felt that the Wyvern boss fight was solvable enough. If you try to actually fight him you'll quickly be looking for an alternative solution...

Wait what? I fought him the classic way, I had no idea there was another way around to kill him! Took me a few tries as well damn.

I could be wrong, but there are permanent dev messages throughout the game, and I'm pretty sure there is one there.

Otherwise the only clue to that fight is in a game I haven't played...

There are permanent dev ones, but you can usually easily tell because you can't appraise them, and when I went through
yhorm, I only remember one saying "try throne"
maybe I'm wrong, but I don't remember a dev one there

I really wish I could remember where it was or took a screenshot of it, but I remember seeing a "visions of spouse" just before encountering one of the more scarier enemies in DS3.

There was one in Bloodborne's DLC which really got me, it was by those two shark thing in the well, you go to them from the elevator way, past the Winter Lanterns. And it said something like "Wondrous Moon Ahead", you look ahead and just get a Shark ass in you face.

The 'but hole' ones and pretty much anything put in front of a female npc in the game get real tired, real quick.

The adventures of skeleton! in DS2 always gave me a chuckle though.

"Tis' the scourge of the inquisitive..." was always a favourite of mine in BB.
Usually found at the end of a long corridor or side path with nothing at the end.

Some more great ones in BB, especially at
Cainhurst Castle
, include:

"Wheelchair therefore fear stairs" in front of the staircase after
Logarius.

"You must accept thrust attack, eventually child waits ahead" in front of the female statues.

"No mercy for the elderly" before the old servant enemies.

and my personal favourite (for absolutely no reason) "Wondrous small gent" in front of a statue featuring a baby being held by its mother.

This is really dumb, but... Whenever there's a corpse bent over a railing, there's bound to be "but hole" or something like that.

One was kind of inventive though. It was "Try finger" with a "Point forward" gesture, so the ghost's finger went up the corpse's butt.

Har har

In Bloodborne, there was a message in the Dream Workshop which had a lot of likes saying: Reminiscent of "All's well"

I didn't get it at all.

Then in the end of the game when
the workshop is on fire
I realized it was a reference to the
"This is fine" meme
. That legit blew my mind

Before the Sellsword set in DS3:
Sellsword blades
Sellsword helm
Sellsword armor
Sellsword gauntlet
Sellsword trousers

There was a message that read "Could it be a Sellsword?" or something to that effect, made me smile.

I always liked ones that used "horse" in Dark Souls 2. There's only one boss that features a horse in the game so I found it funny that FromSoft even chose to include it in the list of words.

Try horse!

My favourites are when people ask really obvious questions or point out things that are extremely clear. "Could this be a door?" in front of a pair of gigantic doors, or "Lever ahead" immediately in front of a lever.

DeS" Sticky white stuff, Did you think this would be a hint?
DS1: "Amazing chest ahead"
DS2: Adventures of skeleton, "man and women" by the carriages that start rocking, "Don't you dare!"
DS3: "You don't deserve this!" by the
body of giant blacksmith in Anor Londo
.

My favourite of all is: This is harsh. Evaluate me. in Demon's Souls, you saw that shit everywhere during the Asian launch.

Can't remember much in Bloodborne.

Dark Souls III

DS3-First chest then hole.

My all time favorite, is “The real Demon’s Souls begins here!”, placed in any fucking place, after a boss, or in some useless corner.

Btw, I never figured out how people add conjunctions and emotes to notes in Dark Souls 3.

Can anyone help me with this?

When you think there is a secret passage between 2 walls: "fatty!"

Also the "Dwarf required ahead" in DS2, I thought I could use some transform items to sneak into those holes...

Holy shit, I remember this! Beat the game but never made the connection. That might be one of my favorites now.

"The real Demon's Souls starts here."

placed on Blacksmith Ed's bed

The best, so sad it has no equivalent in DS3.

In BB in the room where the queen of the vileblood is there are a lot of statues, and one of them is a man laying on the floor, so someone put a message on his d*ck saying "its all because of women". You could see the small fountain produced by the messengers 😂

2 had some of my favorites.

weakness: left leg
and then
right leg

in front of Grandahl was always just enough mean-spirited humor to make me grin.

for some reason on the path up to the King's door near the ruined fork bonfire there was a long stretch that just had "Message Ahead" all the way down. at the end? "Message" right after that? "Message behind" Not really all that funny, but the fact people "worked together" to make it happen makes me smile.

where's that video where some guy left a message in bloodborne that was like "secret passage ahead" and it was in front of one of the lil nooks where you could clip your character through the floor and fall to your death

that's probably my favorite

In DS3, when you reach A
nor
L
ondo
and see the d
ead Giant blacksmith
: Time for tears or Sadness Ahead

In Bloodborne, there was that shortcut jump into the back of Iosefka's Clinic (unfortunately patched out), and I'd always leave "You're in the know, right?" in front of it.

I'm super tired of the "but hole" messages but the message system is great overall, had some really big laughs and my messages getting rated has saved my but hole on more than one occasion

Not a message, but my friend got invaded by "Burnie Cinders" in DS3. Thought it was hilarious.

I saw one in DS2 that said "look carefully then oversight", and if you looked out beyond the player boundaries sure enough there was a rock or something that wasn't flush with the ground.
