(Shadowrun 360 box art)
You all had to ruin it just because it wasn't the Shadowrun of yore. This shooter was one of the best multiplayer games on 360, it deserved a lot more love.

I loved that game. Got over 900 points of Achievements in it from playing so much, even if we boosted the "Godlike" one. Friend even had it on PC too. No 360 game is remotely like it. It was such a neat spin on the Counterstrike formula.

Four games off the top of my head.

The Last Remnant - I loved the idea about the unions being used instead of single characters. Positioning mattered and there was actualy difficulty to the game. Not a SaGa game, but not far from it.

Alpha Protocol - Not an amazing story and the combat isn't stellar but the choice and consequence the game presents is great. Can be replayed several times and you will probably find new twists.

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura - This fucking game. Combat sometimes made me want to punch the screen. Character development is unblanaced as fuck and there are very few tracks for such a big game. I want a sequel to this, so, so much.

Radiant Historia - Atlus made a great game but refused to release it in Europe. Thankfully, it was not region locked, so I could import a US copy. Really good story with an actually good main character. The combat is easy to abuse in your favor after some point in the game, but I loved it anyway. Yoko Shimomura was responsible for the soundtrack and that elevates the game even further as she is one of my favorite video game composers.

Vanquish for sure, with a lot more challenges that the paltry 6 the original has, also a deeper and more deeper and experimental score system and that robot dog cut from the original

This week I tried replaying Bulletstorm straight after a playthrough of Vanquish, the movement speed and pacing felt sluggish as hell that I had to give up.
I'd still like another BulletStorm but just a bit faster.

Recettear: An Item Shop (with more polish/extras and a better dungeon section)
Aquaria

Space Marine 40,000
Metal Gear Rising
Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes

Gotcha Force should have been a series. Pokemon style catch-em-all game with Virtual On action gameplay. Series could have exploded if it hit PSP or 3DS, where multiplayer could thrive.

Capcoms gonna capcom on that one. Which is a shame because with more customization, it would have been a great series.

Glad this was posted. Picked it up of a whim, and got more than my moneys worth

Platinum Games and Clover the thread indeed

God Hand
Vanquish
Metal Gear Rising

Probably every game they make announced this year :(

Bayonetta and Okami managed to eek out sequels by the skin of their teeth thankfully.
