Best high/drunk gaming experience

wow, I could never play a game as fast as SMB while stoned. The only ones that seem to work are sandbox games: I go around, take pictures and enjoy the scenery. Other than that, Audiosurf. So amazingly trippy. I tried with Rez HD, but it's not as good as Audiosurf for me.

edit: TF2 + alcohol is great too. The only multiplayer game where I don't mind losing because it's so funny anyway.
 
Well, Resident Evil 4 on ecstacy was something else...

Other than that I don't know because on most other drugs I've tried I don't really feel like playing a game. I dunno if I can count weed because I'm mostly stoned when I play games anyway. :P
 
I havent done drugs since moving to the middle east, but nba jam was great stoned. also I remember the first time I bought oblivion on xbox. I got so ripped then started the game. 20 mins later im still trying to create my character and got so confused. I ended up returning the game and used the proceeds to buy more weed.

Halo 4 Saturday night. Finished the campaign, and I was blown away.

Is rez in hd on ps3 i want to try that while high!

I recently discovered a game that is a blast while high and its transformers fall of cybertron....holy shit that game is surprisingly epic and easy enough to get high and be entertained.

Unfortunately, Rez HD is only on XBLA. It's a shame, since this should be on as many platforms as possible! I played Area 5 last week when drunk.. it was gooood.
 
Yeah, when I get high NHL is an automatic. Don't even have to be in the mood and it goes in by default. Pulling off great plays with your teammates is fucking awesome stoned.

And since I smoke a lot I guess shooters (Halo, BF3) though that usually turns into me not giving a F and just casually rush after 30 minutes and get destroyed. Then I get off and put in NHL
 
Tonnes of great drunk experiences with games....

Crash Team Racing 4-player. Each person has to finish their drink before the end of the race to win. It gets intense and even if you are an awesome CTR player, drinking strategies change everything.

Also Journey when stoned was incredible.
 
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is fun as hell to play stoned.
Especially once you know the combos and specials for the character you're playing.
 
Wish I could think of a good specific example... there have been a couple of occasions over the years where I'm stuck on some bullshit tough-as-nails boss fight that just kicks my ass on many repeated attempts. To the point where I dread coming home from work and booting up the game. So I put it on hold until Friday night, at which point I knock back a couple of whiskeys after dinner for some Dutch courage, and then beat the boss.
 
Rock band drunk with friends is a blast. But Alan wake and dead space while stoned were amazing with my surround sound head phones. Had to quit a couple times though cause both games sounds and atmospheres were creepy.

Yes.

I haven't done drugs in about ten years and barely drink but back when Tony 3 came out and I considered myself pretty decent, I could not get close to the high score tape on the final level. One heavy night of smoking and I utterly blitzed it first go.

Also I did come home pretty drunk for me a few months ago, put on Super Street Fighter IV and go on a personal best 24 win streak on ranked. There's definitely something to be said for devices and substances able to put you into a mental state of genuine indifference toward winning or losing.
 
Playing Dyad for the first time with a few friends over while drunk was fun, I assume its way better stoned though.
 
I was the proud wielder of a 33-2 record on battle.net for warcraft iii (solo), but one night I played drunk and lost like 8 games in a row. I was fucking pissed when I woke up.
 
I only played Pixel Junk eden once sober. Every time after that I only played it when I got home drunk. I didn't get very far in that game.
 
I played Halo: Reach online while drunk. I was basically one of those guys that would announce to everyone that I was drunk. It was stupid and I like to think I'm a little more mature when drunk now haha.
 
Back then in my teenage year we were a couple of guys at my place when my parents were gone for the week end. We ended up doing mushrooms, in my case for the first time, shit was hilarious as hell all the way.

I remember at some point a friend was playing Vice City on PS2 and he was going ape shit with a knife on everyone. I was so high that I was seeing it going in fast forward and I was dying of laughter.
 
Nothing beats drunken Mario Kart.
Rules are simple:
Each have four shots, winner has to drink all 4 shots, each place behind him takes one less shot. Loser only has to take one.
Sooner or later you either pass out drunk or everyone wins and you all pass out drunk.
 
NSMB: U is a blast with three other people when you're on LSD.

Espacially if you're the guy making the blocks appear on the gamepad.
 
I was playing GTA V high and I cheated a stunt plane and just flew around very high above the map listening to the radio.
For about 30 minutes.
 
When i'm inebriated i always go for zen pinball. I pick a table and just keep playing it over and over and before i know it, I AM THE PINBALL TABLE.
