Best high/drunk gaming experience

Depends on the RPG, if it's a strict turn based affair or something, nah. But if it's like WoW (back in the day), or something relatively open world, I can wonder off and enjoy the sights and sounds pretty easily. It's all about the music and sound effects anyway.

I find that I can't play FPS games while high. I get too tripped out over the shooting and everything around me dying. I tend to enjoy simpler stuff where I can just relax.

You see, you can actually play along to the music on the menu itself without actually even playing the game. I was super stoned and found that to be one of the most entertaining things I experienced in gaming that year. Holy shit was it fun. And that menu theme is so god damn catchy that I spent more than an hour PLAYING ON A MENU.
The best part is that everytime you launch the menu, you get a new instrument to play around with. The acapella in the linked video is my favorite though.
The game itself is meh, but that menu is godly...at least when high.

Drinking MMO PVP was always the best. Recently I spent almost 8 hours in WvW in Guild Wars 2. Started drinking and playing around 6PM or so ... then BAM, 5AM and the girl is pissed because supposedly I stumbled into our bedroom at 5AM and started talking about random shit and she wanted sleep.
Used to love playing Mario Kart and Beer Tekken in college. My fraternity had a big sceen and I'd hook up the PS1 with Tekken 2. 5 round matches, every time you lost a round you had to drink and the loser had to finish their beer.
Good times. Now I'm old.

Wow, really? Smoking weed is such a common thing? I knew Americans used more drugs than Europeans but it seems like drugs is a completely socially acceptable thing in the US. I don't think I'd ever see anyone even create a thread like this in Europe: if you take drugs here people will look down at you. There really are huge cultural differences between not only industrial and third world countries, but also between first world countries.
And if you were on my team in BF3 and were just standing around doing nothing, I'd hate on you for being a bad team player

There are plenty of non Americans on Gaf that are recreational drug users. If someone uses heroin or other hard drugs then they'll probably be looked at oddly anywhere in the world. If you associate weed or hallucinogenics with hard drugs you are very naive.
Fuck, 4 years ago or so when I was doing opiates pretty heavily (hay Amir0x) just about every single game was awesome--especially Ratchet and Clank on PS3.
When I used to smoke weed, the absolute best "game" to play was watching those weird color patterns on the 360 that used to come up when you played music, lol.

Original Super Monkey Ball for the Gamecube.
I purchased it at launch along with the GC, and aside from being one of Sega's best first-entry franchises and the best game Sega released that generation, it was my favorite drinking game that era, surpassing the original Super Smash Brothers -- a feat I originally thought impossible.

The best I can remember is playing Guitar Hero 6 drunk with a buddy. I lost a little skill on the guitar, but we had about ten times more fun.

Audiosurf while high is a great experience. Be sure to wear headphones.
I don't know why but the theme made me want to play almost whole game drunk. It was an.. interesting experiement. I enjoyed it.
Otherwise playing games drunk has never been a good idea.
Fun fact, after my wisdom tooth surgery this year I played Max Payne 3 for the duration of recovery. Having to pop Vicodin and big ibuprofen pills while being in massive amounts of pain made Max Payne 3 much more authentic.

Thus, it seems like, according to your logic, we can draw the conclusion that an ignorant person is one with little knowledge of drugs, even if he has much knowledge of other things.

So you're telling me that I should not be interested or curious about a subject if I have never personally experienced it?
