This was so much fun.

I need to replace my drum set. Is there any place to still buy them affordably? :(

My other fun moment was schooling my buddy at SF4. Drunk as hell off a steak stream of vodka in tumblers, and double perfected him with Guile.

He's a bit of a knob about SF4, so it was hilarious just wrecking him whilst wrecked. :3
 
Classics like Mappy, Pooyan, Qix, Rally Bike, etc. are always great for groups - they're easy enough to play fucked up, and makes for some close competition.

You are ignorant when it comes to drug use, I don't know why that irks you but it's true. I'm ignorant in what make-up would look good on me, I'm also ignorant when it comes to show tunes and opera.

It's not that you are interested in things you aren't involved in, it was your attitude of telling weed and liquor drinkers that what they're doing is unhealthy and is illegal. I can tell you with 100% confidence that the damage the weed is doing to me doesn't come close to the benefits, only damage you get from weed is you might develop lung issues later in life. People that smoke pot know of the dangers, same with any other drug.

What you originally said comes off as very very ignorant when you say that to everyday recreational drug users and people that have had experience with drugs as a whole.
 
Guitar Hero with three beers in me, is just about perfect. Enough alcohol to relax, but not enough to jack up my reaction time.

Back in my mispent youth, I enjoyed playing N2O and Mario Kart 64 after partaking of certain substances.

Ok fine, you want to learn about someone's experiences with drugs and gaming, that's fine. But would I go into a thread about peoples experiences during 9/11 and then act kind of like a douche?

What have you proven? If anything, you seem pretty intent on demonstrating your lack of experiences in life and that you don't get out much.
 
Mario kart 64 while drinking with friends in college. Had one friend who continued to believe he could win rainbow road every time and never learned that staying back, getting a lightning/blue shell and holding it for the last 1/5 of the 3rd lap = a win every time. He loved to gamble on that game and I loved to gamble with that poor, poor man.

I'm TERRIBLE at platformers while drunk. Super Mario World or DKC was nearly impossible to play, but still hilarious. Mario Kart Wii Drunk Driving with the wheel is always great fun too. Need to try other substances with other games though.

People are making fun of you because marijuana use is fairly common in many places in the world, including many European countries.

You can see that some Euro countries are quite light on it, but there are many with over 20% rates of use in the population.

It's fine to not do drugs, obviously. It's just that you don't really seem to be aware of the fact that narcotics use of one form or another is very common all around the world, and your denial of this comes across as pretty naive.

What on earth are you talking about? First of all; never did I claim that I was all-knowing of drugs. But more importantly, how exactly did I act like a douche, how did I tell others that what they're doing is unhealthy and illegal? It's absurd how poor people are at reading. In my original post I was surprised. I also never claimed that it even was illegal: it was a question. And I did get that answered.

You guys, if anything, are the ones acting ignorant and acting like "douches". I was just asking a question. Comparing it to me going to a 9/11 thread and acting like a douche is absolutely insulting. I asked a question here and people jump on me. I'm surprised people behave this poorly on NeoGAF.
 
Drunk gaming is never fun. But 15 years ago Super Mario Kart on weed with my brother was the best thing in the world.
 
Playing Red Dead Redemption while stoned is magical, entering a saloon and noticing all the NPC's doing their own thing, people walking in and out, people vomiting/passing out outside.

What? Do tell me when I was in denial. I'm curious myself. I thought I made it pretty clear earlier that I was in a completely opposite state. How exactly am I denying anything?

Wow, really? Smoking weed is such a common thing? I knew Americans used more drugs than Europeans but it seems like drugs is a completely socially acceptable thing in the US. I don't think I'd ever see anyone even create a thread like this in Europe: if you take drugs here people will look down at you. There really are huge cultural differences between not only industrial and third world countries, but also between first world countries.

Haven't smoked in a few years but weed + basically any immersive game is an experience I really miss. Alcohol is the opposite though, just makes me terrible at games. I remember the first time I got stoned and played Starcraft. it was like seeing the game for the first time. I played so much better like that than I ever did beforehand
 
Getting stoned and hot lapping on a sim racer is good when there's someone else there to play against, requires so much concentration yet it's really calming.

Geometry Wars is good too but I get distracted quite easily by the colour and prettiness of it all.

When drinking Fifa, Trials, any shitty Olympic/Track and Field game or Sonic All Stars/Mario Kart are the best.
 
My friends and I always play Fifa when we get drunk, it's definitely given us some memorable moments. Also like to play Mario Party and Super Smash Bros. Personally, for some reason I always end up playing Marble Blast Ultra when I get back home and I'm still drunk.

Look. I came to this thread because I was curious and interested. I came in hoping that people would be able to have a mature conversation, but alas, I met (almost) nothing but ignorant, arrogant, insulting and immature youths. The OP is pretty much the only exception; he countered me and answered my question. He acted mature. I'm glad I'm not the only mature human here.

But in any case, this is just a pointless argumentation. Clearly I can't have this kind of adult conversation here so I'm pretty sure I should just leave this thread before someone really becomes angry or whatever. I'll just stay out and leave you guys to it.

Few games that I played on something other than weed:

Mirror's edge on shrooms was... what I expected it to be.
Colors were alive, time slowed down to a crawl, the camera movement made it look insanely immersive (exactly like this crysis mod). Didn't disappoint one bit.

Half-life 2 is my favorite game of all time so I (naturally) replayed this game on all possible illegal and legal substances that I managed to get my hands on at the time. And it was godly every single time, a remarkable accomplishment.

The best experience I ever had tough was demon's souls on mdma. It was the first time I was showing it to my gf and we never have experienced something so terrifying and beautiful at the same time. I felt like my heart was going to be ripped off my body. I will respect this game for the rest of my life after this.

That sounds fucking rad. Everytime I trip off shrooms or acid I get dragged to parties or gatherings, I've never gotten the opportunity to play games while tripping or rolling.
 
While playing Mass Effect 2 for the first time, I decided to have a few shots of tequila. Keep in mind I had only gotten drunk before 1 time previous to this event. I was pretty buzzed the very first time I went to Omega and went into the nightclub. It was quite a memorable experience.
 
also not mine but i was out with friends and we we're all on e's, mine wore off quick but my mate took 3 or something and he was SO FUCKED. like he was my best mate, kept asking who i was, me and another guy had to carry him through town to his home stopping to get 2 cans of juice and then a 3rd cause he chucked a full one away.

came home he tried playing battlefield/cod online and couldnt get up these stairs he kept falling off like 15 times before he got up was fucking hilarious he was being such a derp

But I'm not... God, this is so tiresome. I do not understand where you keep getting all these ideas? I neither can't handle criticism nor am I angry. For the final time: I admit. I lack knowledge of this subject. Your inability to read begins to annoy me. Your arrogance and your attitude astonishes me. What would you have me say? This is absurd. Even after I beg for a mature adult conversation, even after I admit my flaws and lack of knowledge, you continue to act with a ghetto attitude.
