Yeah, anything on the 3DS is great while stoned/drunk/crossfaded. Has the added bonus of mitigating potential headaches, from what I'm told.

Singstar, Wii Sports and similar party games can be fun when drunk. Single-player games are generally not fun under the influence of alcohol. The experience basically has to be frustration free, bitesized and familiar. Classic nintendo franchises like Mario and Zelda will in most instances work fine.

Saw this thread and thought of my favorite SP character, Towlie.
I never got high before but I did get drunk before while playing Metal Gear Online with my mic on and boy I was a clown for a few hours. I used my Sloth alt character to troll newbies and I just completely obliterated everyone in Deathmatch while making fun of everyone.
Wow, really? Smoking weed is such a common thing? I knew Americans used more drugs than Europeans but it seems like drugs is a completely socially acceptable thing in the US. I don't think I'd ever see anyone even create a thread like this in Europe: if you take drugs here people will look down at you. There really are huge cultural differences between not only industrial and third world countries, but also between first world countries.
And if you were on my team in BF3 and were just standing around doing nothing, I'd hate on you for being a bad team player
Unfortunately, this isn't true. I live in the UK, and the number of friends I have who have never smoked weed is very low. Literally, like, a handful.
EDIT: If it makes you feel better though, I never have either.

I came in to reminisce the days I smoked (I can't now because I'm taking vocal lessons and don't want to fuck up my lungs) and ended up enjoying LonelyGreyWolf's posts. His/her posts have to trolling. If they aren't... lol.
I mean why would you go into this thread with that sort of condescending attitude? To stay on topic the best game while you're drunk has to be rock band or Mario Kart. Firing off a blue shell at the last moment in a race and coming in first is the most satisfying feeling ever.
The best game when you're high is Minecraft. You get so engrossed in building that it makes you go into a daze and you build without really thinking about it. Then when you go back in when you're sober you can laugh at your either terrible or amazing creation. So much fun in multiplayer too.

GTA IV free roam multiplayer while drinking with old college friends that are now living in different places around the US. Amazing times. We try to do it once a month.

Top high experiences:
Ssx(ps2)-used to play that high all the time. Amazing tricks and colors. It was mind blowing when it first came out.
Original Geometry Wars-when it first came out I could not break a million. I smoked out with friends one night and I hit my first million while high.
Halo 3-I hadn't smoked in years but smoked some dro with a friend the day Halo 3 came out. We played that shit from beginning to end and I was high the whole time. This might go down as one of my greatest gaming experiences ...ever.
Drunk-Hell I play everything drunk. But the best games while drunk are any of the COD games or racing games.

also hopping on the journey train. SO damn good indeed. Played it while drunk as shit and it was awesome. The game is easy enough to be beaten by a drunk man, while still being entertaining as hell due to its colors, ambience, physics, pacing and so on. great pick.

Yes, until you get to the latter half of the game when you have to do some real thinking.
I'm jealous about Journey. Game is the biggest reason I'm tempted to pick up a PS3.

journey is the shortest game of the current gen that I can think of. I think I finished it in about 1.5 hours. But it is not being played for its length. It has its own vibe and would I shell out 13 € for it again? definitly.

Doing Battlegrounds in Wow while drunk/high was great. Wintergrasp provided a lot of fun, too. Alliance on my server could never really hold the zone so their best guilds would get together on Vent to try and take it from us. The entire place would become a slideshow when they breached the walls to the inner courtyard. Oh how they would rage when their best efforts ended in defeat. Good times.
The game doesnt really grab my attention and it sounds fucking short but im looking for an experience so ill give it a go
I played through the whole game drunk(over the course of a few nights) and it didn't seem too short. But either way, I think that the game is worth playing at least once.

If you want to die of laughter then I highly recommend getting stoned and playing Chris's campaign in Resi 6 with a few friends. Gloriously hilarious.

I honestly don't know how people can play Journey stoned. I mean, I have. It was awesome. Then I met my partner. I got so attached to them. After we moved on to another area, I had lost them. I was so fucking sad. I haven't done that again since.
This fuckin' game. Best game I've played while stoned. Maybe I'm just nostalgic. Flow was the game that sold me on the PS3. I loved the flash game and it's probably my favourite flash game to this day. But man, this game is just bliss when you're blazed.

When you sprint right into someone from behind in LA Noire, Cole Phelps just shoves them the fuck down onto the pavement, sometimes spraying blood out of their noses. Then they just get up again and resume walking. Eventually you can actually kill people this way.

So true, although I got stuck in the cave for about 2 hours (couldn't find the way out and kept backtracking... at least 10 times) then I fell asleep... too bad since the end would probably be ecstatic high.
