Best Koji Kondo ending theme?

I was just listening to my vast video game musix collection, and it struck me how amazing some of Kondo's music was (I wish he would start doing music full time again :( ). As far as ending themes go, for me it would be a tough choice between:

Definitely Super Mario 64. I love that ending theme. It's so joyful. I can't explain it. It makes you feel horrible that such great of a game had to have had an end.

I'm quite fond of Super Mario World's ending, and Ocarina of Time's ending. Both during the credits. A Link to the Past is probably technically the best.
 
Zelda 3 has like 2 or 3 great tracks one after another during the ending. The one where it shows all the people and places, the one where he's standing in front of the Triforce... maybe something else... been years, but I remember loving it.
 
You know the funny thing? I dislike most of the music in TP, but it probably has the best ending music of all the Zeldas. Or maybe not.

You know, even though I prefered most things in OOT over how they were played out in TP, I was surprised to find that I liked the ending theme(not the ending altogether) of TP better than OOT.

That music... all the transitions of emotion. The best part is near the end (starting around 13:00) when it conveys a feeling of solemnly odd emptiness and transfers to prideful melancholy. If you didn't truly feel it when you finished the game back then, give it a listen now and i'm sure you'll feel it tenfold.

The LTTP ending credits is possibly the finest piece of music ever produced by Nintendo (I assume Kondo made it).
 
I'm gonna guess that Twilight Princess won't get a lot of love in this topic, but certain parts in its ending theme are very, very good.

I have to agree with you. I enjoyed twilight Princess Ending Music.
 
Like I said in one of my above posts, TP's ending music was really great. Maybe the game wasn't perfect in many regards, but their is no denying the greatness of the end theme.

The best koji kondo ending theme wasn't even written by Koji ;)

My real answer is SMW and Yoshis Island... both are so awesome in their own way.

I'd say Yoshi's Island's ending theme is one of his best.

oh, there we go. Man I hate super mario all stars. Totally didn't even recognize the music.

It is great, but I'm going to have to say that Mario World and ALLTP credits music are the best.

And SMB2 gets to bounce around with them too.

But let's admit it, They're ALL good! It alwasys suprises me that Kondo can make something as boring as ragtime always sound really cool (esp in SMW ending. )
 
EDIT: yeah SM3 is pretty good, I based my vote after listening to the asstastic SM3 allstars version which sucks balls. I change my SMW vote
 
Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past.

I want him to get his ass in gear for the next Zelda game and get his magic back - his TP contributions were AWFUL.

LttP credits music gets me teary eyed. Well, when I've played the entire game through and listen to it, it does.
 
You guys suck. There's nothing wrong with the All Stars ending theme of SMB3. :(

is the bowser boss music from SMB3 the same as the first bowser confrontation music in SMRPG? :O

I also just notices that the water land from SMB3 is shaped like Japan, and the Castle is Kyoto (Nintendo HQ) :lol

SMRPG Ending/Credits were actually done by Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts). Koji Kondo and Nobuo Uematsu gave assistance, but it was she who did the bulk of the work.
