Ys: Because I have never heard the correct way to say it so I'm not ever sure how to say that word.

100% Orange Juice: Has almost nothing to do with orange juice.

Deus Ex - Self-explanatory
Disgaea - When you subconsciously connect the two words, it translates as "not of this earth".
Persona - Simply because I'm fascinated by Jungian studies.
No More Heroes - Has that nice ring to it.

I love game with phrases as titles:

Gods Will Be Watching
We Are Doomed
Always Sometimes Monsters
That Which Sleeps
The Sun Also Rises
I Shall Remain
The Last of Us

Also:

Most of my favourites are already mentioned.

...More seriously, Cannon Fodder and Long Live the Queen are smart names.

I also really like Virtue's Last Reward and The World Ends with You.

Virtue's Last Reward is such an amazing game, made even better when you play the game and realize it could have several meanings. Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors is also up there!
The World Ends with You is a particularly funny case considering it wasn't its name in Japan. For sure an improvement over the unoriginal title.

PSSST
also

Tir na nog
fat worm blows a sparky
Uridium

Wow, oldschool. Love it! Played Pssst to death as a child. I always wanted to play Tir Na Nog, it sounded so mysterious and cool, and the magazine walkthroughs back then made it seem incredibly complex for the time, which it probably was.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a single mention of Half-Life yet. In addition to that, I would add

Age of Empires
Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood and Hell's Highway
Company of Heroes
Just Cause

There can be only one:

Cthulhu Saves the World: Super Hyper Enhanced Championship Edition Alpha Diamond DX Plus Alpha FES HD - Premium Enhanced Game of the Year Collector's Edition

I think Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors (often shortened as simply 999) is a pretty intriguing name. The sequel, Virtue's Last Reward, was originally going to be named Good People Die, and while that's a little 2edgy4me, it definitely is a name that catches attention.

Infinite Undiscovery

Actually, no, that's a terrible name.

Take 10 people that remember the game's existence. 9 of them probably wouldn't if it had a more sane title. I think they made the right call.

For me, Panzer Dragoon always stood out as an interesting and very fitting title.

Also Virtual On. I had no clue what it meant, or what the game entailed when I first heard it... but I could tell it was going to be awesome. How could a game named Virtual On not be?

I like
Final Fantasy, got the alliteration and everything.

Keeping with SE

KIngdom Hearts
The world ends with you
The Last Remnant
Bravely Default.

Are also names I enjoy.

From the capcom Side

Final Fight ( more of the alliteration )
Devil May Cry
Viewtiful Joe
God Hand
Street Fighter

From Namco
Tekken, Very striking very succinct so much so that in a way it kind of just works as its own word. It means Iron first, but to me at least it feels like its own made up word and it works.
Soul calibur, The name sounds as regal as some of the characters and places in the games. ( part of the reason I want a fire emblem soul calibur game )

From Nintendo
Kirby, its a name yes but it its a name that for me still has a fantastical eliment to it some names do some names don't some names take on that element after they have been connected to that subject for that long. Whatever it is for kirby, it works.

Wario Ware, wario is selling you these micromini games so you can enjoy yourself. Enjoy wario's Wares. I like alliteration

Pokemon, its stupid, but catchy and simple. And a shortening of pocket monsters

Fire Emblem as regal as some of the characters can be and catchy to boot.

From 2k/Rockstar/ect

Grand Theft Auto, its not good because its catchy or leads you into the greater crimes you commit in the game , although those are good reasons. Its good because most players steal cars to get from place to place anyway and wreck it driving recklessly , so its a accurate description of what you might walk in on whenever someone is playing grand theft auto.

Midnight Club, its a club at night where you drive cars.

Borderlands, I don't know whether I find this title to be best or the worst, but it works. And I like the games, though if they do end up making a 3, it seems like it wont be on pandora, so Maybe borderlands might not fit anymore I dunno.

These are some

Resident Evil
Hotline Miami
Metal Gear Solid
Devil May Cry
Half-Life
Grand Theft Auto
Fatal Frame
Heavy Rain
Limbo
Final Fantasy
Eternal Darkness

Just Cause.

It's also the name I hate the most. Zero Punctuation's review of the game points out why: it's awfully punny.

I don't really like titles that begin with "the." It can get a bit awkward to say in conversation, especially if it's a sequel. "Hey, have you played the new The Legend of Zelda yet?" I'm also not really a fan of single word titles. They often seem bland and boring.

Three word titles on the other hand are brilliant. Devil May Cry. Virtues Last Reward. Red Dead Redemption/Revolver. Metal Gear Solid . All sound interesting and inviting.

The Blazblue games have really cool subtitles.

Calamity Trigger
Continuum Shift
Chrono Phantasma

The third one is weird but if you think about it as Ghosts of Time it sounds cooler.

MYST
Shadowgate
Skyrim
Onimusha
Twilight Princess
Nier
Phantasy Star
Silent Hill 4: The Room
Catherine
Pandora's Tower
Rule of Rose
Koudelka
Portal
Symphony of the Night
Another World
The Legend of Zelda
Clive Barker's Undying

Among other great titles others have already mentioned, these are some that I remember being intruiged about initially do to their titles alone.
