Chrono Cross, MGS2 and FFVIII stand out the most for me. I also still dig that opening track on gran turismo 2 (the cardigans I believe)

Super Metroid. Best introduction piece ever. It's so ambient. And the space that's created between each note is so powerful- especially considering the imagery. And then the main theme slams in and the sound of the baby metroid squaking continues.

Liberi Fatali is great. I have the 20020202 version. Such an awesome arrangement.

Wild Arms is also fantastic. It's more original and creative in the western genre than the music in most western movies.

LOL, seeing that its my favorite PS game ever, you can bet your ass Ive played it. I guess Im getting into technicalities here. You dont hear the full song, with the vocals, chanting, and crazy woodwinds until the finale. But, fair enough, Ill give you this one. It does play, if muted, in the intro.
