It's a TV movie but don't let that put you off. If you want to feel very sad and frustrated, watch this.

I didn't care for it. It's more of a slasher movie than a story of a serial killer. A lot of supernatural elements.

The second one is one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen. Made up as a documentary. Later including the camera man and the serial killer raping a woman etc.[/QUOTE]
Good taste.

Surprisingly I found myself blanking over all but some of the most obvious ones. Off the top of my head:
Zodiac
The Silence of the Lambs
Manhunter
All three above are awesome but what other obvious ones am I missing? Also if there any really good lesser-known ones that I should know about, fill me in!
I was going to say this. Maybe not quite up there with the absolute best, but an underrated film and a surpirsingly good performance by Costner.Gilgamesh said:Mr. Brooks

And fuck that Henry film, was like the most disturbing thing ever. Good though.

I'd second the Korean film Chaser. One of the best overall, and easily the best Asian film in this subgenre, IMO.
