Except the last level in the main campaign has been such a pain in the ass for me to beat. It's really the only one I've had a really difficult time beating.

Its pretty easy if you look at some walktroughs. But i never saw someone who have beaten this level with a friend/s.

Orcs Must Die 1 and 2 are like this, though it has more tower defense elements than a standard horde mode. I don't think you can complete all the maps without using towers or static defense.

Risk of Rain, the entire game is a sort of an horde mode in waves which gets a bit more powerful every 5 minutes.

My friend can get to wave 29 on MW3 Underground survival Map. When we play together we always falter at Wave 30...

Its all about equipment and tactics. He is level 50 on it and knows exactly when to get turrets and riot squads and predator missiles.
