Latest trailer just dropped.

Gives much more of a look at what appears to be the central drama here. Might be a lot less anthology, "case of the week" than people were previously thinking.

But if I began watching "Better Call Saul!" as a skeptic, the first three episodes have mostly made me a believer. There are nods to the parent show and those are among the more emotionally affecting parts of this young series but "Saul" quickly learns to function as its own thing, rather than taking the easy approach of being "Breaking Bad, Episode 1: The Phantom Ehrmantraut."
Spin-offs are tricky, but Vince Gilligan has earned the right to extend the 'Breaking Bad' franchise with another drama (yep, drama) that starts with a slow burn but is full of promise and potential.
The Saul Goodman series starts out already better than Breaking Bad.
I binged watched BB last year and tbh the first season was not in the same league as the subsequent seasons. It was good but not as great as what followed in my opinion. So if Gilligan starts out BCS on the level that BB ended it might not even be that weird a thing to say.
I think Cornballer?Who's doing the OT btw?
