That shotgun reticule is really fucking distracting. What's wrong with a normal crosshair?

It's a shotgun... and it's meant to indicate spread. In BC2 you get a reg crosshair when using slugs.

The reticle is directly center mass... that's where the hit registers. The shotgun (and muzzle flash) is just part of a bugged animation. The reticle is where the shot registers.

This is pretty simple, I don't see why people are so confused...

The shotgun animation is probably the same in the PC version, but this trailer debuted that particular animation.

Yeah it's old. If you're thinking this is good for a comparison, it's not. Not only is this PS3 build likely older, but the lighting conditions are completely different, making it even harder to discern any differences.

I think it'll be great on all platforms and we should all be happy.
