Not a lot of you have probably heard of Big Bang Mini, but I've had my eye on it since SouthPeak announced it this past E3. It's from French studio Arkedo, who did 2007's Nervous Brickdown, a game I had a lot of fun with.
Anyway, for BBM, I interviewed Arkedo's Camille Guermonprez. Camille's pretty infectiously enthusiastic. Here's a few of my favorite quotes:

One other thing about Yubaba, the music guys. Last year, Nervous Brickdown won the Best Game for Portable Console award in France, and they only got nominated for Best Soundtrack. For Big Bang Mini, it was the opposite: they won the music award, and BBM was only nominated for best game. So they bragged a bit about it during our Friday lunches, and we had to explain to them that they were starting to grow white hair and that one day eventually they would die.
So you move your ship with the stylus (for bullet dodging, mostly).
And you also use your stylus to shoot fireworks at the baddies, just like striking a match. You can shoot any direction, as long as it's upwards.
So, one other thing that I've wondering since the PR started coming out: how does the "Final Bouquet" work, exactly?
