And yes, Frank winning is a pretty shit scenario. I was kind of on board with it until I realized what this week would be. Absolutely predictable from start to finish with the prospect of another two weeks of the same predictability. Boring.

Yep. As soon as Frank won I knew what the next couple of eliminations would look like.

This Week
Willie / Shane / JoJo
Next Week
Willie or Shane / JoJo / Danielle

Janelle is the true idiot here, because Mike Boogie will end up having the ONLY athletic competitor in the house who has already proven he can win trivial competitions.

I take back what I said earlier... I think Brit trading Willie for Wil makes the most sense with a coach's comp win. NOT Ian.
It gives Brit the best chance of finishing this week with 3 players; Boogie/Frank won't put Willie on the block if he's on their team and they won't if he's on Dan's team. But they might if he's on Janelle's team.
Plus, Wil can actually win physical/endurance comps... unlike Danielle or Ian.

Keep in mind that one of Willie, Shane or JoJo IS definitively going home this week. There's no escaping that.

Didn't Wil try to threaten her by saying he would throw every competition, or something like that? I wasn't watching the feeds closely at the time.

She might do it anyway. Even if Wil throws comps, he's a popular player in the house to act as a security lifeline for Brit.
If she's down to 1 player, you can bet he won't be throwing competitions. Wil would probably do better in most competitions when throwing them than Danielle would trying to win.
And Wil is finicky, he was openly trashing Janelle just 2-3 days ago. He can switch loyalties in a heartbeat. Just ask Kara about that.

Coaches Comp spoilers

(I'm pretty sure) Janelle won, saved Ashley
Willie is now a have not. Joe is trying to stir shit up and get him to explode.

What I can't stand is how fake Janelle is. She was trashing boogie left and right last week, and now they're doing happy dances in the HOH room. It just reminds me of when Brendon came back and Adam/Shelly/Brenchel/JeJo were in the room dancing like a bunch of fucking idiots. The fakeness is strong pretty early with these vets.

Janelle/Boogie/Joe/Frank were in HOH celebrating, Willie came up and said he was leaving this week, but not to put anything on Shane and JoJo, then when he walked out, Joe said he could beat Willie up (sidebar: Does Joe annoy anyone else as much as he annoys me? He talks so much shit, but does absolutely nothing to back it up. It's like Wil this morning when he said that he'd tell Britney off before the comp not to choose him, but when he talked to her, he said it in the most non-confrontational tone ever. What a bunch of fake people.), and then Willie went downstairs and the feeds cut to trivia

Best case scenario outcome for keeping the game boring this week.
Willie goes home unless he wins POV. Otherwise, Shane goes home.
May as well turn off the feeds until next Thursday.

Nothing is a bigger turnoff in Big Brother than fake people being rewarded for their reprehensible behavior.
I only appreciate that sort of thing when it's done intentionally to manipulate (i.e. Shelly).

I'm not even sure why the DR wanted Frank around this week enough to force Ashley to change her vote. What a boring character that has no desire to play for himself... Oh wait! Production loves those people.

Read on Jokers yesterday about Joe planning to get Frank out next week, then today tried to make a final two deal with him. lol

He's definitely Shelly part 2.

If you think of Big Brother as the WWE, the newbies as jobbers and the returning veterans as John Cena & Triple H, it's perfectly understandable.

It's a real shame too because that first week was a doozy. What an unfortunate waste! Perhaps next week will be better.

Seriously. With as much stupidity Willie ran his HOH with, at least the moves he made were his own, and not at the behest of his coach (much to his demise), but Frank? Dude has no mind of his own and is only doing Boogie's dirty work. At least with Kara staying, she wouldn't have been in a position of power to be useless.

Yeah, Joe is definitely Shelly, but without the actual reasoning for being two-faced and fake. He manufactured a lie to get Willie get rid of Frank, and now you're in an alliance? Moreso, why isn't Willie/Brit using that information to ream Janelle with?

Willie has gone nuts. What an idiot.
I'm sort of hoping he DORs or gets outright pulled from the game. Might make this week more interesting.

Ted the Bear should have been the 5th option.

Joe saying he could kick Willie's ass lol. I really hope they have a confrontation
I love how Willie brags about his grade 8 education. Total paranoid idiot, I hope something goes down just so he gets what is coming to him. Leave it to him to make his brother look good.

Trivia for the last 45 mins.

DOR?
Skippy being dumb?
This is clearly due to Willie's outburst. He'll either be doped up or gone outright from the game when the feeds come back on.

The amusing part about this is that Willie doing this BEFORE the nominations ceremony effectively means both Shane and JoJo will get put up on the block if he DORs.
He's killing their chances to have a week to repair his damage by checking out now.

If he waited until after nominations, they'd probably just call it a short week and a new HOH would get chosen like when Chima checked out in Big Brother 11 after Jeff played the stupid Coup d'Etat.

Willie clearly didn't get the memo that Big Brother isn't fair. And that the veterans are supposed to win.

What does DOR stand for? And what is the point in shutting the feed off? Why wouldn't they want anyone to see Willie get himself evicted?

DOR = Drop on Request, basically quitting the show. And probably so people would have to tune into the show to see it.. ratings

Drop on request I think.

I think it's because production is speaking to him through the speakers (they did this with Chima) or they just want to use the footage for the show (for ratings purposes).

edit: Beaten by cacophony

Oh that wonderful and wacky unbalanced Hantz family.

In totally unrelated news... here are some Survivor 26 spoilers. (That's two seasons from now, don't you know.)

Don't highlight below unless you're not a Survivor fan or don't want to know specifics about how this all ties in to Big Brother.

It's another Fans vs. Favorites installment and Brandon Hantz is brought back as one of the favorites. So is ex-GAF poster, John Cochran (aka Gumby).

The whole season has been spoiled so I won't spill the beans on those details but I will pass along that Brandon "had a meltdown during a challenge, got voted out on the spot, removed from the jury and according to long-time spoiler insider Missyae he emptied out food, water and destroyed stuff."

Dear lord...

More Survivor spoilers... these aren't Big Brother spoilers.

Here are the returning castaways for Season 26:

Corinne Kaplan (Survivor: Gabon - Season 17)
Brenda Lowe (Survivor: Nicaragua - Season 21)
Andrea Boehlke (Survivor: Redemption Island - Season 22)
Francesca Hogi (Survivor: Redemption Island - Season 22)
Phillip Sheppard (Survivor: Redemption Island - Season 22)
John Cochran (Survivor: South Pacific - Season 23)
Brandon Hantz (Survivor: South Pacific - Season 23)
Dawn Meehan (Survivor: South Pacific - Season 23)

Or you can just click on this link.

And when I say spoiled, I mean spoiled. Everything about this season up until the final 3 contestants facing the jury has been revealed including a boot order. Obviously, the winner won't be unveiled until the live finale next spring. That's a long wait for these guys.

Just seeing all those people from
Redemption Island and South Pacific
would make me not want to watch.

I just find it amusing that out of the three reality TV Hantzes, Russell will go down as the most level-headed of the bunch.

Also, someone on Twitter - and this may be completely off-base - is saying that
Ashley is Janelle's cousin
. (Big Brother spoiler this time).

Interesting but I wouldn't be surprised. Janelle is also friends with Porsche from BB13 and helped get in the show. Willie knew Hayden too apparently. It seems like the best way to be part of reality shows like BB or Survivor is to know previous (popular) contestants.

A former BB9 houseguest who used to work for TMZ is spreading that rumor, btw. I deleted it due to it seeming dubious at best.

What the hell...how come he can use twitter like that and speak to other people?

It's not really him. Maybe just a family member/friend running his account. Last season James Rhine ran Daniele's Twitter, and Janelle had a friend posting while she was sequestered this season.

Did Cochran really post here?

Did Cochran really post here?
As best as I can tell, he was a regular contributor back in the old Gaming Age days prior to getting banned in 2003... mainly spamming the Off-Topic forum with threads like Gaborn does these days.
There's another guy using the Gumby moniker now but it's not John.

Random thought - are any of the players from the Colorado area? Any chance they are explaining the movie theater shooting to them and making sure friends/family are accounted for? They have done so in the past with 9/11 and earthquakes and such.

The only contestant with Colorado roots was Jodi (our unfortunate Day 1 twist victim). I believe she's already back home in Englewood (near Littleton).
That's southwest of Denver whereas Aurora is directly east. Any of them could have had family in the area but 71 people isn't exactly a huge number.

They need to replace the Trivia on the feeds with this...

Big Brother After Dark airs in a little over an hour. Watch everything be fine and the guy monitoring the feeds fell asleep at his station.

Um, no.

The jail bit kinda gave it away lol

And it actually wouldn't surprise me about Ashley, she kinda has that european look to her like Janelle and they have some of the same mannerisms.
