Brit has a natural talent for impressions. She should seriously consider a career in stand-up comedy if she ever gets tired of being a pharmaceutical sales rep.

PoV Players:

Team Janelle
Frank
Danielle
Shane

This should be interesting.
Wil and Danielle offered the most "drama" scenarios for this week so it's good to see those names drawn for POV. (Although it does open the opportunity for a wrench to get thrown into the mix to still send Frank & Shane home back-to-back.)

Curious to see what kind of comp they serve up and whether it's one that guys like Shane and Frank will have a disadvantage competing in due to their physical stature. Perhaps it will be an obstacle course where you have to squeeze through tiny holes and tunnels. Kalia sure had a fun time in that one last season.

haha, holy shit, that will be epic.

If
-Janelle's team-
wins PoV, it totally makes sense to put up
----Ian----
.
He is the only one from Boogie's team that won't vote against Ashley.

If this happens:

Jenn - Joe/Ashley
Frank - Joe/Ashley
Danielle - Joe/Ashley
Wil - Ian
Joe/Ashley - Ian

Anyone think the coaches will CHOOSE NOT to enter the game?
I could see Boogie saying no as he could be in a huge lead by next Thursday and a very solid chance at $100k, coaching-wise. Britney will, as she is down to one, as is Dan, so I think they would enter. Janelle is kind of iffy, IMO, could go either weay.

I don't think they'll have a "choice".

They'll enter the game, still be in line to win 100K if one of their players wins the game or 500K if they win the game on their own.

Takes the element of choice away from them. And Janelle's already been told by Production the coaches are entering the game on Thursday even though "America" is still voting on the matter.

Sounds like someone may have clued the hamsters into the POV being one of those collect letters and "spell the longest word" challenges. Watch Janelle tell her kids to spell the word Brendon won this comp with TWICE prior (which I believe is UNDERSTANDING). No surprise Ian would be left on the sidelines for a comp like this if they choose to roll with it. Would love to see Danielle win by spelling some long ass medical term like angioplasty or fibromuscular.

I hope someone spells antidisestablishmentarianismist.

--------Joe--------
leaving would make me very happy. The hate is strong in me for that one.
For what it's worth, he's been pleasantly rational the past couple days compared to when he was feuding with Willie - inciting conflict and spouting lies non-stop for that smear campaign. Although that's likely due to the fact that he knows the same tactics won't work here.

I was looking forward to seeing Joe's reaction to the coaches coming into the game so that's a bit of a letdown. Would have rather had Wil in his position.

POV Insight - Wil, Ashley, Joe & Danielle will all use the POV if they win it; Frank and Shane would obviously keep the nominations the same.
Not that she'll win but I can actually foresee a scenario where Ashley gets talked into using the Power of Veto to take Joe off the block instead of herself if she wins it.

What is
---Danielle----
thinking?
Shane saved her ass and she is pissed because she lost the power of the swing vote? What an idiot, thinks she is smarter then she actually is, hoping Shane would put up from Boogie's team so she could make a deal. What a snake.

If it was up to Shane, Jojo would still be in the house over her. And watching the feeds, she was initially pissed thet Frank didn't go up, but now she is clearly on Shane's side and would do whatever he wanted with the veto.

Well, for starters, Shane would have rather neither JoJo or Danielle were on the block last week. But his team was the target of the post-Willie witch hunt and he stuck by JoJo out of loyalty to his team and his coach.

Dan has twisted that in Danielle's mind to have her thinking that Shane considers her expendable in order to get her A) focused on the game and B) to use that as a way to infiltrate Britney so he can set up Shane to screw Boogie/Frank and work with Janelle. Dan is the puppeteer and Danielle is simply being a devoted marionette.

Now the whole deal with the POV that I didn't clarify above in terms of who would use it is that Danielle will only use the POV if she wins it in a scenario where Shane has been convinced to backdoor Frank. If there's no budging him on that point (i.e. he would insist on Jenn or Ian) then there's no sense in her throwing away a perfectly good power situation where she has everyone's ear in the house and to sit back and pick her spot down the road.

I can't see how this wouldn't back fire on Dan and Danielle. It really makes no sense for Dan to be campaigning for Frank to go home when Danielle isn't a target. The only reason it would make sense for Dan to be campaigning for it is if he was working with Janelle. Even Brit and Shane aren't dumb enough to sniff that out if they start going down that road too much.

I think we would need to see some kind of house blow up involving Frank for them to want to back door them. With how pissy Joe has been though, I could see it happening. Him and Frank have already been saying snarky comments to each other in passing.

But Uber, we know how you are thinking this next couple weeks is going. So you see everything that could happen in Janelles favor as a garuntee. :lol

It's hard not to think that way when she was told the coaches would be entering the game on Day 1 and was then tipped off again a couple days ago that they'd be full-fledged houseguests competing for the 500K prize starting August 2nd (next Thursday).

Doesn't that clearly show that she's being favored? You can't blame me for thinking along those lines.
Heck, if they're going to tell her that much they might as well spill how everyone's voting in a given week based on their DR interviews.

How do you know she was tipped off again? Yes she has been thinking since day one that the coaches were coming in, but the entire house thinks the twist is coming this Thursday because they didn't hear anything about jury this past Thursday. She could just being using that the reaffirm her prior suspicion(knowledge). It's perfectly within the realm of possibility that all she is doing is adding two and two together.

Even if she was tipped off again it's a week before it happens when she can't change anything and she doesn't have power. It's not like it allows her to completely flip the game in her favor.

As a side note I really don't think Janelle is the one that is wanted to win this season by production. She has barely been shown on the show compared to Brit and Boogie, and it doesn't fit in with her desire for a "Story". If this season was all about Janelle winning on her third chance, I think there would be a shit ton more talk about her losing her other seasons and more random fluff to her like there was for Rachel.

If Janelle keeps blabbing her inside info to Britney and others in the house they probably won't be favoring her all the way throughout the season.

I wouldn't be reading too much into her edit vs. Rachel's, though. Rachel is a reality TV sideshow. You can't NOT devote the majority of your time on her. She's a larger than life personality that runs off and cries in the bushes when she loses comps.

Janie just makes catty remarks and bitches about everyone in the house all the time in between having the fakest smiley babytalk conversations to whomever happens to be in power. You can't really edit that into a story until she loses her coach's hat and takes Boogie on in something bigger than a Coach's competition.

Incidentally, I'll give Janelle credit if she works the 'get out the floaters' angle with Shane following the POV and gets him to put Ian or Jenn on the block. I think she'll get some traction there.

POV spoilers.

Sounds like Shane won for the third time. This would be 5/6 comps? If you count his last ditch run to win Brits team the HOH first week.

I know the competition isn't great, but you can't help but be massively impressed with Shane as a competitor. The guy is dominating the newbies right now. Him getting rid of Joe makes me a big-time fan

Janelle is instantly up in the HOH and completely digging herself in a deeper hole. Trying to say Frank started the final six alliance when he was HOH but forgetting the fact that they saved him week one. Saying Wil isn't talking to him just because he is bitter. They should backdoor Frank because he is the root of all the lies and problems. :lol She is just throwing out every possible thing she can. Shane literally laughed at one of her answers.

Really proud of Shane. Not only did he not listen to his coach, and play his own game and make his own decisions, he won the PoV keeping his noms the same, and he's really set himself up nicely going forward.

Dan's play to save Jamie's team is thwarted, and he has a solid deal with Boogie and Co.

And I can't wait for Joe to freak out.

I'm so happy both him and Britney are seeing through her BS.

I agree somewhat, but I still think that he is pretty much out the door in the next week or two. I think it would be a smarter move for Boogie/Frank to team with him for a little while longer, but I just don't see them doing it.

Yes he is the only one really ignoring his coaches advice, but he is probably the only one that would put up the coaches for eviction and I think the other coaches will see that.

Wil and Janelle talking to Shane and Britney-"There was no final 6 deal" (with Boogie's team), five seconds later, Ashley-"No, there was a final 6 deal". LOL

I know she's so bad at this in an amazing way. Also Janelle just offered her wedding ring and earrings for a 3 week deal with Shane and Brit.

Well yeah, but nothing in this game is forever, so of course he could be gone soon. Its just that he made the best possible play he could this week and so far its all went good.

On another note, I love how Janelle's whole play is that they should get rid if Frank. Shane should say, Well, Duh! You could have got him out the first week stupid. And last week you were kissing his ass.

This is really pissing me off. When the hell did bartering with things suddenly become acceptable? JoJo offering cigarettes, Boogie mentioning money when they get out of the house, and now Janelle and her ring? So dumb. It was never allowed before.*

*Besides the one season where they had some gold bars or some crap, i think Dan's season.

He's said that a few times. :lol

Yeah, I think this is a lose lose situation for Shane. He had to go with one side or the other and ride it out regardless. I just think no matter what he is screwed.

Britney is making fun of Jojo for trading cigarettes for votes. Keep in mind, she is telling this to Janelle who just offered to trade her wedding ring for a 3 week guarantee.

That wedding ring ploy was hilarious. What kind of sane person makes a gesture like that just to avoid getting knocked down to 2 players from 3 (effectively still in 2nd place)?
Talk about desperate.

A proper back door IS hard to plan but it will definitely be discussed next week if Shane doesn't play for POV no matter who is HOH (apart from Britney).

If I recall, Dani offered Adam a meeting (or meetings, I forget) with Evel Dick in return for various things. He didn't take her up on it, but I think I remember ED being really pissed off about it, as she did it after he left and he never agreed to anything.

Who will backdoor Shane next week? Let's mull over the options...

Ashley - Definitely; Janelle will demand it
Boogie - I don't think he will; he's got the numbers and his players will be antsy about the coaches now being in the game; a backdoor will just send them scurrying to Janelle & Dan
Britney - Not a chance
Dan - Probably; depends on what kind of influence he feels Danielle has over Shane and whether he can stay in good with Boogie/Frank if he pulls the trigger on it
Danielle - She'll threaten Shane with the idea for sexual favors; she might do it at Dan's behest if Shane refuses
Frank - Nope; Veteran Target 1A wants to keep 1B around for a more enticing target
Ian - If he really wants to be portrayed as a villain, I can't think of a better way to do it
Janelle - She would give Shane all of her jewelry, her baby photos and all non-yellow items in her wardrobe and still backdoor him - BUT only if Frank/Boogie are untouchable
Jenn - Who?
Joe (if he's still in the house) - Actually I sort of doubt he would with the coach dynamic no longer in play. He'd probably pitch a Final 2 deal instead
Ted the Bear - Undeniably; he's jealous of Shane being more metrosexual than he is
Wil - Probably; I can see him jumping ship from Janie when the twist gets revealed, though

Sucks that whatever Shane does, he's living on borrowed time. Every since Willie left, really. And if he does get backdoored next week, he'll have survived 14 more days in the house than he would have.

I think Shane has a fighting chance now. It all depends if the coaches come in the game - he will have 7 people on his side and the numbers. I think they'll be focused on taking out Janelle first and foremost - that is 3 weeks, a lot can happen.

Winning comps is just a poor strategy overall. Even if the coaches come back in, Shane winning 4 out of the 6, (5 if you include the first hoh) sealed his fate. Can't imagine him making it to the end.

Dan clearly felt Janelle was a sinking ship that can't win anything and gave Danielle authorization to chat with Boogie and Frank to get in good with them.

Danielle/Shane/Frank just formed the Three Amigos alliance. Let's see how that works out with the coach's entering the game in 5 days.

Shane's having himself a really nice HOH reign right now.

You're giving Dan way too much credit. Danielle liked Shane from the beginning and was always going to work with him no matter what. No way she would reject an alliance with Shane even if Dan forbid it.
