Personally I loved both films. They are just hilarious fun to watch. Pure cheese but so damn fun . Did they ever release these on Blu-Ray? I really should pick them up if they did.

LMAO look at his face. It's sad that we will never get a decade of film and culture as great as the 1980s

That's supposed to be Farrell's. They've been gone around here for a long time, but I heard they're back in a few locations.

Excellent Adventure is on bluray.

Yeah, I was at Fry's a few days ago and it was playing in the Blu-ray section. It was at the part where Lincoln is on stage. Someone there knows what's up.

It's obscene how much I love back to the future, but even still I have to say bill and teds excellent adventure is my favorite time travel movie of all time.

Even then, I generally prefer bogus journey.

I never understood this line.

You've never folded bills before? You can fold the dollar bill in a way that makes Washington into a mushroom. It's like a Mad Fold-In.

I have no experience with dollar bills. I'm English. Like, how you can make the Queen smile and frown? That's cool.

I have seen the original so many times I can quote most of the dialog, but I only saw Bogus Journey once when I rented the vhs tape from Blockbuster. All I remember is the grim reaper saying "you sank my battleship."

This movie makes me sad because I'm still waiting for the day where everyone is excellent to each other and it's not coming. :(

Exactly like that. But you actually make the mushroom out of his entire portrait, not just his head. The top of his head is the mushroom cap and the ruffles on his shirt are the stem.
There's a much more involved one with the newer $5 bill where you can turn the entire bill except Lincoln's face into a hat for Lincoln.

That scene...man, I was in awe when I finally realized it.

I feel like I have to go back and watch all these movies from my childhood. I was watching Big earlier today and noticed for the first time that he subtly checks his fly when all of the guys are laughing at his tux :lol

From an interview with Keanu posted today:

Finally, is there any update you can give us on Bill & Ted 3?

"There's a script. We just have to figure out a way to get it made, it's a good story. Bill and Ted are older gentlemen and the pressure of having to write the song that saves the world has made them go a little gonzo and a little crazy. The future comes back and says, 'You have to write this song, or the universe as we know it will break apart!' So they go to their future selves and try and figure out who wrote the song. Along the way, they learn some life lessons!"

If they're going crazy, it sounds like you should get Lars von Trier to direct?

"I know, right? Him or Werner Herzog!"
