Ugh, just......uuuuugh. Commissioner Gordon is probably my favorite Batman character, and looking at this picture makes me just want to shake my head. I haven't read a comic yet with "robot batman Gordon with stupid shaved hair", and as a Gordon fan I should probably keep it that way right?

I thought this was a Liefeld comic at first, but then I saw that the feet weren't blocked by conveniently placed objects.
Well, yeah, in the sense that he was deliveratedly designed with that mindset to mock the state of comics at the time.

The Wall was among the most unique (in looks and personality) character on comics, truly a refreshing face. Now she is generic hot comic lady #355.

Awesome, absolutely... but also bizarre.
Particularly an armored crazy Batman with razor claw gloves. I really do like the designs though, partially because they're so bizarre....
... and they only got more bizarre.
Joe Quesada went on Fat Man on Batman and basically said the direction he was given for designing AzBats was to make a bad, over-designed, image-style Batman. The whole purpose of the arc was to explain why classic Batman was better than nineties X-treme characters.

As weird of a decision it was, I did like Sharon Ventura turning into She-Thing.
Just google anything Rob Liefeld and prepare to die. This is just one of many many gems he produced.

I really liked the idea behind Penance as a concept and progression for the character of Speedball, but by God was it super 90s edgy rubbish. Civil War was just awful. I'm still baffled Marvel is making a movie out of it. Though it can't be as bad as the books (I hope).
