black ops 3 is now in the open

I didn't even realize, this game comes out next Friday....it's going to be a long weekend


You get nuketown just for pre ordering no?

Is this true? How do we know that? Are the people getting it early have the promo code automatically in the box the game came in?

Also, when would online muktiplayer be available, on launch day?
 
To anyone who has an early copy of the game:

Can you please try adding 4 controllers and seeing if you can in fact play 4 player split screen? Dan Bunting said they would have it but the back of the case says 1-2 players local and 2-18 online.

Also, if you could please take a video of it (and if you don't want to make it public you can just PM me it) that would be appreciated.

Too bad the leaked versions won't show that it'll be a lagfest in MP . The norm now and reported in the beta already. Definitely a no buy I really don't understand how people play these games in the state they're in these days. Wanted to play Aw so bad it was just unplayable

The way Activsion does this is that Nuketown will be available in the first prints of the game, meaning that there will be plenty for people that pre order and don't. And yeah, it's usually a code. The first print copies won't be phased until later, so everyone has a chance.

I've bought COD games a few days early in the past and it's always had the code inside. This should be no different.

I guess sometime during the week the servers will be up. Maybe by Wednesday? Thursday for sure. Going by previous releases, I was always able to play a few days before actual release. Don't know if things have changed.

Trying to avoid all spoilers. Very hard since I'm very excited. Took the day off on Friday so I'll be up throughout the night on launch day, streaming as much as I can.
 
The ninjas are freaking fast. All those videos are down already!

I can't wait for it to drop, though. So hyped. Bye, bye Destiny TTK.
 
Not to derail or anything, but how exactly do you get access to nuketown? I preordered and preloaded the game on Xbox One but when I was buying it on the store it never mentioned nuketown. I bought the "preorder edition" on the store. Will I just automatically have access?

I guess my concern is that gamestop told me that the code will be on the receipt if you pre order. If that's the case, let's say you buy it from a mom and pop store, I doubt the code will be in the receipt.
 
So I just bought the game (PSN) but the pre load date has been changed to the 5th of November. Why? Is this just a glitch or did they do this on purpose? If so, why would they do such a thing. Everyone downloading it at the 5th will likely crash the servers (PSN is crappy as it is). Netherlands btw, might be different for users in other countries.

I was able to download Nuketown but now it says waiting for installation.

Yeah something messed up in the EU and we have to wait till the 5th :(
 
How big is the PC community for CoD ? Thinking of picking it up for PC... Just not sure how alive the multiplayer is.
 
Gonna order this game for the XBOX ONE since Im used to playing call of duty games on the XBOX ONE I assume its pretty much the same for both consoles
