I love how he says its the preferred experience because of marginal comfort improvements then lists crucial things like online infrastructure and online population being worse, amongst other shortcomings.
i like how people with poor reading comprehension cherry pick random details and then twist them to prove their point
And now Jim Sterling is looked to as the voice of reason. Love it.
How about you try proving me wrong?
Anyone who has played both versions.
somehow I doubt you fall into this category

I read this article, yes. That's the preference of the author and he's not an evangelist. Sitting on a toilet , watching tv at the same time and less assholes online might be the optimal wii user experience, but for a cod gamer it's absolutely isn't. Number of players and good performance are more important than all those hardware features.do the other versions of black ops 2 allow you to play on the gamepad while watching tv or doing something else? do they allow multiple people to play on separate screens? did you even read the article which explained why he liked it better?
So much delusion in this thread, jesus. There's sharper textures and better lighting in Multiplayer.

The biggest complaint people have had with this version is its performance, with reports of framerate inconsistencies getting in the way of the action. In my time spent in the game, I'm yet to encounter anything as egregious as some have reported. Aside from one or two brief hiccups in the solo campaign, I've found the game running pretty fluidly with no major issues dampening my fun.
Guys we can't enjoy our game because of some slowdown in the single player campaign. Hate to break it ya.
I don't even know what you're talking about. My game boots straight to multiplayer. Call of Duty games have a campaign mode?

Anyone who has played both versions or read the lensoftruth and digital foundry comparisons knows your wrong.

I wonder how many critics on GAF have actually played the game on WiiU. I have played on both Xbox and WiiU and there are definitely performance hits on the WiiU on single player but I feel that the WiiU version has brighter colors and does look sharper in some parts I have played. The framerate issues are definitely there in campaign mode however, and is apparent right from the get go in the story. Multiplayer looks and runs awesome. But while this version performs worse in Campaign, I like the features it adds to the game (mostly off-tv play for me and that I have not had any douchebaggary online) and to be honest, the worst part of the game is that people only play Team deathmatch and alot of the game modes are barren. I would say if you have all 3 systems go with Xbox as the game was made on that system first and ported to all others. But that doesn't mean the WiiU port is as bad as people are making it out to be... Its solid and offers features the other versions do not.
Did he really say "STIFF" analog sticks???
One thing I really don't like about the Wii U's Gamepad are the somewhat loose, non-octagonal analog sticks, which definitely feel like a major downgrade from the excellent stick found on the nunchuck.
I wonder if the Wii U Pro Controller has better ones (haven't tried it yet).
In single player campaign where there are performance issues. Thus why Im talking about Multiplayer where their are none. Multiplayer has sharper textures, better lighting and its more colorful.
Have you played the game?
Im not the only one that feels like that.
No. You are delusional.
somehow I doubt you fall into this category
Have you played the game on Wii u? Cause right now you are just trolling.
Well, he is BrettHD. He obviously knows his HD
So much blind wiiu hate in here. Guys it's really good on wiiu.

People can say how great the WiiU version is all they want.
People said the same story about how the games on the Ps2 weren't as great as their competitors, but look where all the sales went to (spoiler alert: ps2).
Nobody is playing Blops2 on the WiiU. Someone can say, "yeah the WiiU is the best version" and that may be true, but at the end of the day, the majority of the gamers who play this game will all say the same thing, "I don't give a shit. All my friends are playing this on Xbox."
Get used to it.
The game is great on the Wii U.
I'm not a big fan of dual analog but I've been playing it on just the Gamepad and it kicks ass.
Pointing out deficiencies is not hate - god I hate that people trot out the "haters" term on game forums.
Stop being so sensitive.
If I didnt like the system and wasnt planning on enjoying it I wouldnt have bought it.
you actally prefer an octagonal gate on the stick?
seems to defeat much of the point of an analog stick to me. turns it into a giant 8 way dpad.
I don't know why people are getting so bent out of shape over this article.
Thats great, doesnt disprove what Ive and others are saying about the multiplayer.
