profiles control all of that including the LED ;)

After you select Scan Group Barcode from BBM just hold the phone in front of the image until it registers, no need to scroll or push anything.
 
anyway to join and leave group without having to scan the neogaf barcode?

edit: i left, tried to come back and scanned the barcode but says invite already used or some ish? wtf. there's no way to go "sleep" while in the group, you just have to leave the group?
 
3 chats + pictures, all showing up in my message list and external notification (which has piled up to 85 with no way to remove them)

I personally think that it is overly cluttered.

I am trying to find a way, all I see is changing the status to online or busy, neither of which do anything at all.

Change the Option "Vibrate when receiving a ping" to unchecked, then go into profiles > edit profiles > the profile you use > turn off the LED, Vibrate etc

Worked wonders for me. I just get an icon on the home screen now, which is more than enough to tell me there's something new

nah, that's just turning off the notifications. i'm looking for a way to go into some kind of sleep mode for the group, where i'd still be in the group, get zero notifications, and not have to leave the group.
 
Yeah, I keep trying to join this (It shows up correctly as NeoGAF), but it says "Joining Failed."

When I click on it, it says "this invitation has expired or has been used by someone else." I'm drunk, and I just wanna talk to GAF :(
 
I had the previous leaked BBM5.0 version and just now rebooted to install this one.

Does that invite bar code still work or does a new one need to be posted?
 
Is BBM 5.0 slow as shit for anyone else today? It was working fine yesterday, all my other apps are working fine, but typing takes forever. I hit a key and it takes a few seconds for the letter to pop up. :\
 
So I went to download this, but I'm getting an error that I don't have enough free space. I went into memory and, sure enough, I have 1.9 MB of application space available...WTF? I have 855.3MB free on my device and 7.3 GB free on my SD card. Anyway to fix this without deleting shit?

EDIT

Did a little googling. Apparently I might have a memory leak or something, did a battery pull and now it's good to go.
 
mmmkay, and now when I scan the barcode it tells me it has expired or has been used already. :(
 
I just figured out the (lame) reason why the group invite won't work all of a sudden.
